15 Day Challenge - (un)Conventnional BookviewsWelcome to my 11th post in this awesome Book Blogger Challenge that is hosted by April at Good Books and Good Wine. I can’t believe it’s coming to an end now. So far, I’ve had a lot of fun with these Challenge posts, and it’s great to read all the other particpating bloggers’ answers to each prompt. I feel like we’re all getting to know each other a lot better.

Hmm… what to choose? I think I’ll do a little mix – some posts I have loved writing, and others that have gotten the most traffic so far 🙂

Let’s Discuss – Intimacy in YA? I think it’s really important that if there is a couple in a YA story, and they go all the way, there should be some kind of honest description of what they are doing instead of just fading to black. If intimacy / sex is not important for the story, it shouldn’t be there at all, and I don’t mean that all YA books should have intimate scenes in them. But I think that teens need something other than their friends or the internet to learn more about intimacy and sex.

My review of Beautiful Redemption is getting a lot of traffic, even now over six months after I wrote it! I don’t know how, but that post must be showing up on the first page when people search for the book, and then they come here.

The review I wrote of Untethered by Katie Hayoz is getting a lot of traffic as well, and I think that’s awesome! She’s a pretty new author, and not many people have heard about her and her book yet. I think it’s one that all paranormal lovers would enjoy, because the paranormal element is just so original.

I also really enjoyed my post European Bloggers Unite because I met a lot of bloggers thanks to that post, and some bloggers I already knew but had no idea were blogging from Europe. It’s nice to have some bloggers I can chat with while my US or Canadian blogger-buddies are sleeping 🙂

Since I wasn’t able to go to NYC for BEA, I participated in Armchair BEA that same week, and I had so much fun! I guess I’ll link to my introduction post, because that was the beginning of it all. I met many new bloggers, some whose blogs I check out every day now. I learned some important things as well, and it was fun to participate in the twitter chats and the daily prompts.

What kinds of posts are you showing off at your blog for this prompt? Was it difficult to choose five?

Thanks for stopping by today. I might be a little slow in answering comments – still in Paris 🙂 Have a great Saturday!
