Armchair BEA – Giveaway

What a great idea for all of us to host a Giveaway during Armchair BEA – I haven’t hosted many giveaways so far, but I do have my rafflecopter account, so that’s very handy 🙂 Because I have decided to give away some of my favorite books by favorite authors or in favorite genres – I have to stay on topic with the past few days! – there are three books in four different categories, and the rafflecopter reflects this. Let the fun begin!

Here are the four different prizes that are up for grabs :

Maeve Binchy - (un)Conventional Bookviews

Hardbacks of Maeve Binchy’s Scarlet Feather, The Glass Lake and Nights of Rain and Stars.

Paranormal Anthologies - (un)Conventional Bookviews

Paperbacks wtih the anthologies : Must Love Hellhounds, My Big Fat Supernatural Wedding  and Strange Brew

Contemporary Prize - (un)Conventional Bookviews

Three contemporary novels in paperback : Jennifer Weiner’s Certain Girls, Isobel Wolff’s Forget me Not and Douglas Kennedy’s The Pursuit of Happiness

  1. Jennifer

I have not read any of these books but I think I would like the Paulo Coehlo books! There are some great looking choices. I just joined your email list too, I can’t believe I haven’t yet! Lol

    • Thanks Jennifer 🙂 Paulo Coelho is amazing IMO, and it’s true that those books are really beautiful!

      Happy reading.

    • I love Maeve Binchy! Good luck Deborah, and I hope you’ll be able to rebuild your library slowly but surely.

  2. I wouldn’t mind winning either the paranormal anthologies ( I LOVE paranormal stuff!) or the Paulo Coelho books (I’ve been wanting to read his books for a while.) Thanks so much for this awesome giveaway!

    • Those paranormal anthologies are actually quite good, often, I don’t get into short stories, but most of these were awesome.

Thanks for stopping by Denée 🙂

    • Yup, I figured instead of giving them away to a 2nd hand bookstore, I’d share them here for the Armchair BEA instead 🙂

    • Thanks Tamara. I figured I would do a giveaway that has something to do with the posts I’ve made during the Armchair BEA 🙂

  3. Colleen Turner

I would love the Maeve Binchy or Contemporary Novel bundle!!! Thanks for the giveaway!

  4. Gayatri

I’d love to win the Paranormal Anthologies. Its a great way to find out new authors to read by reading their short stories!!

  5. Shelly Hammond

I think I would almost (the almost is very important here) rather have all my teeth yanked out without Novocain instead of choose between these 4 bundles! It’s like asking if you want a cupcake or a cupcake. Of course you want a cupcake! (That made sense in my head). It would be impossible to pick one of these so I think it would all come down to a good old fashioned game of rock paper scissor or a coin toss.

Thank you for the chance to enter the giveaway and may everyone have a wonderfully beautiful day and upcoming weekend.

    • LOL Shelly, I just thought it would be nice to let the winners have a choice… If you win, I’ll pick a bundle for you 😉

      Thanks for stopping by!

  6. Neat…you’ve included a “local” author (at least for me) Jennifer Weiner is from southeastern Pennsylvania. 🙂

    • And the anthologies are a great way to discover authors you haven’t tried yet.

Good luck Angela, and thanks for stopping by:)

  7. Tanya m.

I haven’t read any of these, so they are all new to me, and look fabulous btw. I think I would go for the Paulo Coelho books first. Thanks for the chance to win!

  8. I think I would choose the Contemporary Novel bundle! The Paulo Coelho one sounds really good too but I am portuguese so I think it would be better to read them in portuguese haha! Great giveaway!

    • I agree, always better to read in the original language, when we know that language. Something is always lost in translation.

Good luck Joana, and thanks for the follow:)
