Feature and Follow #42

YAY it’s Friday!

Gain new followers and make new friends with the Book Blogger Feature and Follow! If this is your first time here, welcome! You are about to make some new friends and gain new followers — but you have to know — the point of this hop is to follow other bloggers also. I follow you, you follow me.

The Feature and Follow is hosted by TWO hosts, Rachel of Parajunkee’s View and Alison of Alison Can Read. Each host will have their own Feature Blog and this way it’ll allow us to meet more new bloggers!

What sets this Hop apart from others, is that our hosts feature two blogs. Every week they will each showcase a Featured Blogger, from all different genres and areas. Just remember it is required, if you participate, to follow both their featured as well as our lovely hosts as a courtesy. How do you follow someone? Well, if you have a preference, state it in your Feature and follow post. I prefer being followed via e-mail, RSS or Bloglovin’ , it’s also possible to follow me on Google+, Networked Blogs, Feedly or Linky ; or you can like my facebook page, or follow me on Twitter. I have decided to delete my GFC, since it seems as if it will soon be deleted from Google’s services anyway – therefore, if you used to follow me via GFC, I would appreciate it if you could please find another way to follow me! Let me know if you’d like me to follow your blog in another way as well.

So, on to this week’s question:

Give us a sneak! What are you reading? Tell us about a fun or fail scene in your current read!

OK, I’m gonna have to cheat here, because I just started reading Carniepunk, and I’m not far enough into the story to have anything to share 🙁 But I’ll share something fun from the last book I finished instead! The last book I read was All He Ever Dreamed (Kowalski Family #6) by Shannon Stacey, it’s about Josh, the youngest brother, and his changing relationship with Katie. They are moving on from being best friends to maybe something more. Katie’s best friend tells her this at one point: “Fine. Seduce him, use the hell out of him and then send the oversexed, possibly dehydratd husk of him out into the world.” I was laughing so hard at this phrase – because Katie doesn’t want to do anything that will screw up their friendship… However, a little later she changes her mind This had to stop, dammit, if she was gonig to lose her best friend over sex, it certainly wasn’t going to be bcause they didn’t have it.

What about you? Do you have a fun or a fail scene to share from your current read? Please do share 🙂

Thanks for stopping by today, have a fantastic Friday and a wonderful weekend!

    • Hey Traci 🙂 I have just started it, though, so I have no idea yet, but I’m excited to have it as well.

      Thanks for stopping by.

    • Thanks for stopping by Liesel 🙂 I think Carniepunk will be fun – lots of authors whose writing I usually enjoy have participated.

    • Thanks for hopping through, Alison. The Kowalski Family series is a contemporary romance with a little bit of smut 😀 Makes me very happy!

    • Micheline, if you like contemporary romance you should check out the Kowalski Family series 🙂

Thanks for following on Bloglovin’ – I’ve returned the favor.

      Happy Friday.

    • Thanks for following other ways than GFC, Bieke 🙂 I’ll be sure to return the favor!

      Have a wonderful weekend.

    • It’s a contemporary romance I just love! Thanks for stopping by, Rachel 🙂 I hope you’ll have a wonderful weekend!

    • Yeah, you definitely should! There are more quotes where that came from 🙂

      Thanks for stopping by Micheline!

    • It’s a really great contemporary romance series, and if you like that genre, you should really check it out!

Thanks for stopping by, Lisa 🙂

  1. I love the quotes! I haven’t read that series, but the humor is just right. I might not get to posting my FF this week. Thanks for the Networked Blogs follow. I like that set up over Bloglovin and Linky. I followed back. Happy Friday!!

    • I prefer Bloglovin for the time being – it’s so easy to read through blogs, comment and just keep up with everyone there 🙂
I’ll check out your blog even if there’s no FF 🙂

    • Thanks for stopping by 🙂 Isn’t the FF just such a great opportunity to find new blogs?

      Happy reading.

    • I’ve read the first story in it now, and it was very different!

I don’t know why, but your comment went to spam :O I hope that won’t happen again! Sometimes I have so many real spam comments I can’t read through them all before deleting 🙁

      Have a wonderful weekend!

  2. I’ve never heard of either of these books. (I don’t end up reading a lot of romance.) But they sound cool!

Thanks for stopping by my blog. I couldn’t remember if I’ve followed you before, so I followed you through email just in case. 🙂

    • I hope you’ll like it, Jessica! I loved it – but you should read book #4 and #5 first, because the build up for Josh and Katie start with Josh’s brothers’ books 😀

    • Yeah, those Kowalskis are definitely worth the paper they’re printe on 😉

      Thanks for stopping by Jennifer.

    • Dr. Pepper out your nose would probably sting a little, so I’m glad it didn’t come to that!

🙂 Thanks for stopping by Jaclyn!
