Feature and Follow #46 – Which fellow Blogger would you like to meet?

YAY it’s Friday!

Gain new followers and make new friends with the Book Blogger Feature and Follow! If this is your first time here, welcome! You are about to make some new friends and gain new followers — but you have to know — the point of this hop is to follow other bloggers also. I follow you, you follow me.

The Feature and Follow is hosted by TWO hosts, Rachel of Parajunkee’s View and Alison ofAlison Can Read. Each host will have their own Feature Blog and this way it’ll allow us to meet more new bloggers!

What sets this Hop apart from others, is that our hosts feature two blogs. Every week they will each showcase a Featured Blogger, from all different genres and areas. Just remember it is required, if you participate, to follow both their featured as well as our lovely hosts as a courtesy. How do you follow someone? Well, if you have a preference, state it in your Feature and follow post. I prefer being followed via e-mail, RSS / Bloglovin’ or Google+; or you can like my facebook page, or even follow me on Twitter.

What a great question this week, and very apropos because of the BEA and the Armchair BEA. I have loved seeing all the pictures on Twitter these past few days of bloggers who have actually been able to meet in real life after chatting for a long time. There is something special about meeting friends from the internet for real for the first time, and I am sure they have all had a great time!

There are some bloggers I would like to meet before all the others – because I’m greedy like that, I’d like to meet you all! Those I would like to meet first, though, are Rachel of Parajunkee’s View, Wendy Darling of  The Midnight Garden, Jaclyn Canada from JC’s Book Haven and Brandee from Bookworm Brandee.

Why? do you ask, did I pick these bloggers to meet before all the others? Well, Rachel introduced me to the Feature and Follow, and she has so much great advice about blogging and twitter and branching out it’s just amazing! Wendy Darling is so lovely in her reviews I want to meet her and hug her for real! Jaclyn and I could have an awesome chat about amazing sidekicks over drinks. And Brandee and I have so many things in common apart from books and our love of reading that I’m sure we’d have a total blast.

Now, don’t be sad if you’re not mentioned, because you’re certainly among the bloggers I want to meet, too, and maybe one day, we will meet.

What about you? Who would you like to meet for real, and do you think it could actually happen?

Thanks for stopping by. Have a fantastic Friday and a wonderful weekend.

    • YAY point for Jaclyn! I would love to meet you all! There are quite a few blogs I comment on, and whose bloggers comment here as well. It would be a lot of fun to be able to sit down together for real 🙂

Thanks for stopping by Jessica. Have a fantastic Friday.

    • Yeah, it looks like they are all having a blast! It must be great to chat, laugh and hang out together after having chatted together for so long online 🙂 And I would also fangirl just as much about bloggers as about authors, I think!

      Thanks for stopping by Jessica!

  1. I’m with Traci above about having a “huge (and cheap) blogger-con.” I chose Brandee and Jaclyn too! I had no idea when I started blogging that I’d make friends. Now I can’t imagine going back my pre-blogger world. Great choices! The sidekick themes for June are on Jaclyn’s FB page. They look like a lot of fun.
    Happy reading!

    • Thanks for the heads up about the Sidekick Saturday… I’m a little slow today – I stayed up way too late last night to participate in the Twitter-chat.

And I’d come to a huge and cheap blogger-con in a heartbeat!

Thanks so much for stopping by Robyn.

    • Well, it is thanks to Alison and Rachel that we have the Follow Friday 🙂

      Thanks for stopping by Angelica!

    • Hmm, that means I need to visit more blogs, so I can feel all that love 😉 I’ve seen your name mentioned quite a lot on the ones I’ve been to already!

      Thanks for stopping by Jaclyn!

    • I know! I have actually met up with some friends I met thanks to the internet, and now, some of us meet once a year and it’s so great. It’s amazing meeting someone for the first time, while actually knowing them pretty well already!

Thanks for stopping by Brandee 🙂
