Feature and Follow #57 – Current Book Pic

YAY it’s Friday! Gain new followers and make new friends with the Book Blogger Feature and Follow! If this is your first time here, welcome! You are about to make some new friends and gain new followers — but you have to know — the point of this hop is to follow other bloggers also. I follow you, you follow me.The Feature and Follow is hosted by TWO hosts, Rachel of Parajunkee’s View and Alison of Alison Can Read. Each host will have their own Feature Blog and this way it’ll allow us to meet more new bloggers!

What sets this Hop apart from others, is that our hosts feature two blogs. Every week they will each showcase a Featured Blogger, from all different genres and areas. Just remember it is required, if you participate, to follow both their featured as well as our lovely hosts as a courtesy. How do you follow someone? Well, if you have a preference, state it in your Feature and follow post. I prefer being followed via e-mail, RSS / Bloglovin’ or Google+; or you can like my facebook page, or even follow me on Twitter.

I’m going to cheat a tiny bit on this one… because I’m not reading anything at all right now, and also because I took a picture of my current read while I was on vacation in Spain just 10 days ago. And it looks nice with my kindle, the beach and the sea. And I wish I was still there, kind of, even if I’m really happy to be home so I can sleep in my own bed again.

Feature and Follow Current Book Pic - (un)Conventional Bookviews I mean what is not to love, right? I’m not sure right now what I was actually reading at that point, I was just so happy to be in the sun, close to the Mediterranean, and getting up to play with my kids in the water or in the sand in between reading and relaxing.

On Monday, all my kids start school again, so it has been a busy week getting their stuff ready, and my classes start on September 18th. When I’m back in Uni, I’ll probably spend less time here on the blog, so I’m trying to read ahead and schedule loads of posts to not completely disappear off the face of the blogging-earth – but at the same time, I’m pretty excited to be getting back to my own courses, a real life schedule and to see my fellow students again.

Thanks for stopping by today 🙂 If you’re a new follower, please let me know so I can stop by your blog and follow you back. Have a fantastic Friday and a wonderful weekend!

    • Exactly, back to real life it is. And it’s supposed to get pretty cool, too. This summer has to be the shortest in history!

Thanks for stopping by Katie 🙂 We should go to Starbucks one morning next week 😉

  1. VERY NICE PICTURE!!!! Looks so relaxing 🙂

I go back to School on Sept 7th I am a nervous wreck 🙂 my first time back since 1996. But finally going to learn web design been a graphic designer for years now just never learned how to design a web page or codes. I guess it’s better late than never 🙂

    • Oh, you’re absolutely right! It’s never too late, and it’s exciting that you’re going to learn how to design web-pages and use codes.

Thanks for stopping by Michelle 🙂

  2. This is a fantastic picture. Back to school time is so hectic and we’re moving tomorrow and I’m on the computer. But I don’t want to pack anymore. Nope. I remember looking forward to going to college. One day I’ll feel that way again and I’ll return. Have a great weekend, Lexxie!

    • Oh, I know what you mean about not wanting to pack anymore, Robyn. If I can stay in the house I’m in now forever, I won’t move again… It’s so tiring, but it’s kind of exciting, too. Good luck!!

I’m so happy I took the steps needed to go back to studying, I’m really loving it. And it’s so nice to hang out with a younger crowd than usual, too 😀

Thanks for stopping by, Robyn 🙂

    • LOL, I think it was one of The Hollows books, Jazmen, but I’m not 100% sure. I did read a few of those while on vacation.

      Thanks for stopping by.

  3. Cute toes, Lexxie! 😉 It’s a lovely pic! Yeah, I’d wish I was still there as well. I finally got my camera charged so I can download pics from our vacation. I hope to post a few. My kiddos went back to school this week so my schedule is a bit off as well. And it’s so quiet around the house now… 🙁 I hope your kids’ first week is wonderful. And I look forward to hearing about your classes once they start. 🙂

Have a wonderful weekend, Lexxie! I’ll ‘see’ you tomorrow.

    • LOL thanks, Brandee 🙂 Vacation is just so awesome, even if real life is pretty darned good as well! I look forward to seeing some vacation photos from your trip. That way, I can travel a little with you as well.

Thanks for stopping by 🙂 ‘See’ you later 😉

    • Hi Kathryn 🙂 It’s nice to meet you, and I agree with you, meeting other bloggers from everywhere is awesme.

      Thanks for stopping by.

    • LOL Charlotte 🙂 I needed to use that picture as a pick-me-up, because I’m actually back home now – no more sand, sea and sun 🙁

      Thanks for stopping by!

    • Oh, I’ll take you next time! But the picture was from a little while ago… are we still friends?

      Thanks for stopping by 😉

    • Our summer this year has been extremely short, it looks like it’s already over, and I have to say I’m not yet ready for fall.

thanks for stopping by Naomi 🙂
