Feature and Follow #63 – Pic of my Fave Book in a Fun Place

YAY it’s Friday! Gain new followers and make new friends with the Book Blogger Feature and Follow! If this is your first time here, welcome! You are about to make some new friends and gain new followers — but you have to know — the point of this hop is to follow other bloggers also. I follow you, you follow me.The Feature and Follow is hosted by TWO hosts, Rachel of Parajunkee’s View and Alison of Alison Can Read. Each host will have their own Feature Blog and this way it’ll allow us to meet more new bloggers!

What sets this Hop apart from others, is that our hosts feature two blogs. Every week they will each showcase a Featured Blogger, from all different genres and areas. Just remember it is required, if you participate, to follow both their featured as well as our lovely hosts as a courtesy. How do you follow someone? Well, if you have a preference, state it in your Feature and follow post. I prefer being followed via e-mail, RSS / Bloglovin’ or Google+; or you can like my facebook page, or even follow me on Twitter.

Bookagram: Photograph your fave read in a funny place

So these are just some of my favorite books, and as you know, I don’t know many paper books. For photos, I really need paper books, though, and here we go:

FF Fave Books - (un)Conventional Bookviews

It’s not exactly in a funny place, it’s on my dining room table, surrounded by things I love to have near at hand when I’m reading. I need my glasses, something to drink, a candle, and sometimes the best place to read is at the table, where I can just hang out and sometimes, I also eat while I’m reading 🙂 The books I have in my pic are Splintered and Dare You To. Both were among my top ten books of 2013!

What about you? What’s your fun place where you’ve taken your picture of your favorite books? Thanks for stopping by my Feature and Follow today, I hope you’ll have a fantastic Friday and a wonderful weekend.

      • Jessica@a GREAT read

In response to your comment on my blog about the Friends episode–OMG! That was like one of my all time faves!! First Joey put The Shining in there because it got too scary and then he put Little Women in it because Beth’s sick…Jo’s there but I don’t think she can do anything…

At least I think that last part was what he said! 😉

        • LOL, I loved that episode as well, Jessica! Both because – hey they were actually reading! – and because Joey got so upset about those books he had to freeze them so they couldn’t hurt him 😀

  1. Yay! I am glad that I am not the only one reading in a dining room. It’s very efficient, right? You don’t have to get up when you want a snack or a drink or a meal. Everything is an arm length’s away.

I also do my blogging in our dining table and Mother’s really irked. Hehehehe.

There’s Katie Mc Garry again. I really need to promote her books on my TBR pile. T_T

    Have a fun weekend, Lexxie!

    • Yeah, eating and reading are pretty far up on my list of favorite things to do! My blogging is done on ‘my corner’ of the living-room couch, because that way, I’m with the family while they watch TV.

Oh, yes, you definitely need to make sure you read Katie McGarry’s books!

Have a fun weekend yourself, Charlotte 😀

    • Most of all my books are on my e-reader as well. Good thing I had two books I really love in paper books 🙂 Your pic looks really cozy, I want to go to bed and read right now 😀

      Thanks for stopping by Stormi.

  2. Amazing books, great location, Lexxie!

I didn’t participate this week…I’m having trouble keeping up! LOL Whoever said children take less time as they get older LIED! 🙂 Hmm, maybe I’ll take a photo of a fav book at the band competition…would that be funny?!?

Happy Friday, my friend! I hope it’s wonderful and that you have a lovely weekend ahead. We’re traveling ~4 hours for the State competition this weekend and then marching band is done for the year. Whatever will I do with my extra time? Oh, and I want to know what your new tattoo is, if you don’t mind telling me. I’d really like to get my bookworm done because my oldest daughter designed it. 🙂

    • Oh, yes, a pic of your fave book at the band competion is a great idea, Brandee! I know what you mean about keeping up, I don’t participate every single week, but it’s always fun when I do 🙂

True that bigger kids does not mean less time to do stuff for them! In Norwegian, we have a saying: Small kids – small problems, big kids – big problems. 🙂 mostly I don’t have problems, but the time spent with them for various things never seems to diminish.

My new tattoo is a bracelet with each of the children’s names, with a heart in between the names. I’m so happy with it!! You should definitely get your bookworm tattooed. I need to come up with a good idea for something with my husband’s name now… so he won’t feel left out 😉

Thanks for stopping by Brandee! *hugs* I hope the band competion will be awesome this weekend! And I have a couple of ideas for what to do with that extra time of yours 😉

      • Yep, bigger kids doesn’t equal less time – but I’m like you…not problems just time spent in different ways than when they were younger.

I love the sound of your tattoo. I was telling my hubby about it. I can’t wait to hear what you come up with for your hubby. 🙂

And as for your ideas of how to spend my time…which one should be the priority?!? I have so many books on my Lexxie rec’d TBR. 😉 But I think I can come up with 4 rather quickly…any guesses?!?

Bookworm Brandee recently posted: **Sidekick Showcase ~ #17 ~ Scary**
        • Oh my, guesses on which four you’d start reading… Mageri series, Snowbound with the CEO, Untethered… That’s only three, but how am I doing?

It’s going to be harder to come up with a cool tattoo for my hubby’s name (or initial) first, I was thinking of making it look like a necklace pendant… but the tattoo-artist in London told me that’s the place that hurt the most! I don’t really think tattoos hurt very much, but on the throat the skin is pretty sensitive. We’ll see.

How did the band competition go?

    • Oh, I totally agree! I always have my kindle with me, too! Never know when I’ll have time to take it out and disappear into another world for a little while 🙂

Thanks for stopping by, Traci. Have a wonderful weekend yourself.

    • Splintered surprised me on so many levels! I was really happy when I read it – because it is kind of a re-telling of Alice in Wonderland, but at the same time it’s really not! I know that doesn’t really make sense, but it’s true.

Thanks for stopping by, and for following 🙂

      Have a wonderful weekend.
