He’ll do anything to be her knight in purple armor.

Bucking family tradition, Dyre is determined to become his planet’s first hero, even if it breaks his mother’s heart. He sets out on numerous quests to save the universe, however his altruism never seems to turn out quite as expected. Who knew doing the right thing was so hard?

In between saving those who don’t want his help—and the chaos that follows—he rescues a damsel in distress. She doesn’t appreciate his heroic abduction, and even worse, once Dyre gets to know the outspoken human, he entertains less than noble thoughts about ravishing her.

It takes only a couple of comical mishaps, some hot kisses and danger for Dyre and Betty to discover their happily ever after—and thank the stars for a heroine who ends up saving this hero, and the galaxy, from his chivalrous side.

He’s big, he’s purple and he wants to be a hero, not a mercenary. Too bad he’s got bad genes working against him.

Purple, strong, hot alien meets headstrong human female who is always ready for a new adventure in Heroic Abduction.

My Heroic Abduction review:

Dyre is very different from the other purple aliens I’ve come to know through the Alien Abduction series! He’s a mercenary who wants to be a hero, and that brings about many humorous situations in Heroic Abduction. With his inner musings commenting everything from how Betty looks to what he’d rather have her eat instead of her pizza, I was howling with laughter more than once!

Traveling through the galaxies searching for one of Betty’s human friends, Dyre, Betty and Zista come into lots of difficult situations where Dyre can prove just how heroic he is. Expect some eye-rolling at his antics, even if you’ll probably forgive him just as fast as Betty and I did – because he knows how to work his body – and Betty’s – to their complete satisfaction! Heroic Abduction is filled with hot chemistry, epic fights, very many different and strange kinds of aliens, and there is also friendship and a fierce loyalty.

If you are looking for some quick reads that have both erotic romance elements as well as science fiction, fantasy and some paranormal things going on, the Alien Abduction series is close to perfect, and you can read Heroic Abduction before you read the other books in the series – it’s no problem to read the series out of order.

Some of my favourite Heroic Abduction quotes:

Striking a heroic pose – which meant a hand on his sword and the other upraised for emphasis – he uttered the speech he’d honed over the past few years. “Fear not, damsel in distress. I am here to save you.” Overcome with gratitude, she gasped at him in silence.

Despite his questions about her presence on this planet, Dyre couldn’t help but admire her agility – and her trim buttocks.

Have I finally found my damsel? From the legends he’d studied, heroes either adventured until they died or found their princess, which some stories called their one true love.

  1. Eve is so popular lately, I can’t blame y’all though, her books regardless of the length are always quick and fun reads. With everyone so busy with the holidays, she’s the perfect go-to author to squeeze in during a stressful day and just cuddle up with.

    • I know, I see reviews for her various books everywhere these days! And really, her stories are just the pick-me-up I needed for the last part of the semester – I’ve been SO tired.
Have a great day, Braine 🙂

  2. I need to dive into this series of Eve’s…the only one I’ve read is her FUC series and I haven’t read all of those. But she’s so funny and she does *steamy* very well. 😉 I’m glad you enjoyed Heroic Abduction.

    Enjoy your day! **BIG HUGS**

    • Yeah, she definitely does steamy well, Brandee *grins* whenever I need something hot and funny, she’s my go-to author!
I just had my last class of the semester, so I’m officially on ‘vacation’… I have some papers to hand in, but I’m going to take a break for a week. I truly need it! *BIG HUGS*
