Subject: Navy SEAL Lieutenant Dominic Castillo

Mission: Protect—not seduce!—his sexy target

Dominic Castillo loves his SEAL team like brothers—except one, who made sure Castillo was left behind during the latest mission. But when his rival is kidnapped by a vicious drug lord, Castillo receives a black ops mission of his own: protect his rival's sister. And any mistakes will either result in her death…or his.

Lara Banks clearly has no interest in being protected by a military man, especially an acquaintance of her estranged brother. So why is she doing her best to drive him crazy with pure temptation? Lara insists on having her naughty way with him—over and over—but is fulfilling their fantasies worth the price?

Fast-paced romance filled with danger and hotness, A SEAL’s Fantasy made me hold on to my couch for the duration of this wild ride.

 My A SEAL’s Fantasy review:

Dominic is used to being the go-to man for advice, and when he finds himself hurt and not able to go on a dangerous mission, he’s not exactly feeling good about it. A SEAL’s Fantasy quickly shows Dominic that he can’t always decide how, why or when a mission needs to be taken care of, so when he has to find Lara to make sure a South-American drug-lord can’t get his hands on her for leverage, he isn’t too enthusiastic. Never mind that Lara doesn’t want protection, and that she does her best to get away from him.

Keeping Lara safe quickly becomes more than a job, though. As an exotic dancer, she knows how to use her body to her advantage, and it sure doesn’t hurt that she finds Dominic very attractive in a forbidding navy SEAL kind of way. One of the things I enjoyed the most in A SEAL’s Fantasy is that all of the usual stereotypes were quickly done away with. Lara is an exotic dancer, she does this in order to earn enough money to finish her College degree in computer programming. Dominic doesn’t mind what she does for a living, as long as her clients can only watch and not touch.

Dominic’s family is a hoot, and I remember them from other Uniformly Hot SEALs stories I have already read. And this reminded me that I have some from the beginning of the series I haven’t gotten around to reading yet. I really should do that – the perfect mix of hotness, action, great characters and a strong plot is always a pleasure to read about.

Once things are put to the test in A SEAL’s Fantasy, Lara leaves Dominic to make sure she can make her own decisions and live her life the way she chooses – but that doesn’t mean she forgets about him. And this also leaves Dominic to thing long and hard about what he expects from a relationship as well as what he’s willing to do to make one work.

Some of my favorite A SEAL’s Fantasy quotes:

He knew stuff. Military stuff, girl stuff, sex stuff. Thanks to his nana, he even knew cooking stuff. He stared at his drink, muscles aching and head throbbing. It was a damned shame he didn’t know what to do for his own stuff.

But oh, what a yummy mouthful of trouble he’d be. It was probably the long, dry spell without sex that had her getting all wet and wild over a guy whose face she couldn’t even see clearly. Maybe she should break open her piggy bank and hit the toy store. An adult toy might take the edge off.
