Highland Heat (Highland Knights #2) by Jennifer Hamore. This is a Loveswept title, release date November 24th.
With blood still drying on the front lines at Waterloo, Lady Grace Carrington helps an injured soldier to a British medical tent. Though she believes she’s pulled him to safety, in fact she has put them both in grave danger: Because when his brilliant blue eyes meet hers, the passionate Scottish sergeant kisses her in a way that leaves her breathless and trembling. As the obedient daughter of an earl, Grace shouldn’t be tempted by someone so far below her station. But as a red-blooded woman, she longs for so much more.
As far as Duncan Mackenzie is concerned, getting stabbed in the arm was the best thing that ever happened to him. When he wakes on the battlefield, the sight of Grace’s lovely face sets his soul aflame. As an enlisted man and a farmer’s son, however, pursuing his guardian angel means facing the wrath of London society, not to mention his own superiors in the British Army. Aye, but he’d risk all that and more just to keep her in his arms.

I’ll certainly be keeping an eye out for This is where it ends, once it is published. I like the sound of that one. I’ll be interested to see what you think of it. Enjoy!
Yeah, it sounds absolutely heart-wrenching, Chuckles. I hope it’s well written, so I will feel all the feels!
This is Where it Ends sounds like an interesting but emotional read, I hope you enjoy both of them
Thanks, Lauren! I hope so, too 🙂 Have a fantastic weekend.
I honestly can’t wait to read Highland Heat. I loved the first book, and Haymore is such a fun author to read. I really like the upside down pose….and look at those yummy arms and shoulders.
I haven’t read any of Haymore’s books yet, Renee, but I look forward to Highland Heat all the same! And I agree, the cover is definitely yummy!
“This is Where it Ends” sounds fascinating. It’s not my usual read but I’m adding it to my library TBR. Happy reading!

This Is Where It Ends looks horribly relevant. I hope the author handles it tactfully.
I hope you enjoy your new books!
I tried a Haymore book and enjoyed it, not sure if it’s this one. Happy reading!
This Is Where It Ends sounds like it might be a bit too emotional and raw for me. I might still pick it up though, if my nerves can handle it!
Great looking books this week. I also have This Is Where It Ends, it looks like it’s going to be emotional but also could be amazing! Hope you enjoy 🙂
