Halfway around the world, Scarlet Benoit’s grandmother is missing. It turns out there are many things Scarlet doesn’t know about her grandmother or the grave danger she has lived in her whole life. When Scarlet encounters Wolf, a street fighter who may have information as to her grandmother’s whereabouts, she is loath to trust this stranger, but is inexplicably drawn to him, and he to her. As Scarlet and Wolf unravel one mystery, they encounter another when they meet Cinder. Now, all of them must stay one step ahead of the vicious Lunar Queen Levana, who will do anything for the handsome Prince Kai to become her husband, her king, her prisoner.

Their best hope lies with Cress, a girl imprisoned on a satellite since childhood who’s only ever had her netscreens as company. All that screen time has made Cress an excellent hacker. Unfortunately, she’s just received orders from Levana to track down Cinder and her handsome accomplice.
When a daring rescue of Cress goes awry, the group is separated. Cress finally has her freedom, but it comes at a high price. Meanwhile, Queen Levana will let nothing prevent her marriage to Emperor Kai. Cress, Scarlet, and Cinder may not have signed up to save the world, but they may be the only hope the world has.

    • I just read Cinder, and because I loved it so much, and because audio-lovers told me the audiobooks in The Lunar Chronicles series are good, I just couldn’t resist getting those 🙂 Have a great weekend, Grace!

  1. I love Cat and Bones! I can’t believe that the series is finished now but there have been hints about a spin off book featuring Ian which is exciting! I liked Spade’s book but the other spin offs left me cold. Enjoy your books!

    • I love Cat and Bones, too! I’ve already read all the books in the series, so the audio is my way of cheating… I don’t usually re-read books, but listening to books is a whole other story 🙂
      Have a great weekend, Chuckles!

    • I’ve only read the first one so far, Laura, and I loved it. I can’t wait to see what Cress and Scarlet will do for me 🙂

    • I’ve already read the Jeaniene Frost books, and I’m really looking forward to listening as well 🙂
      Have a great weekend, Christine!

    • I like having an audiobook for when I work out, or if I’m alone in the car 🙂 Have a great week ahead, Shelley.

    • Oh, if you only knew how many books are victims of my TBR pile, Shannon. Cinder had been on my kindle for a long time, and I really loved it, so I figured I needed to have the next books handy for when I want to read them 🙂

  2. OOOh nice! I really liked Scarlet and Cress was even more awesome!! Hope you enjoy all your new reads!!

My STS will be up tomorrow, so be sure to stop by then!

    Have a GREAT day!

  3. Love the Night Huntress series! I really need to get caught up on the Lunar Chronicles books, I’ve only read the first one. But since it’s been a long time and I can’t remember anything, I may have to do a reread before continuing.

Anyways, I hope you enjoy your new books 🙂

  4. Great haul! I´d love to read the Lunar Chronicles, but for now I´m trying to cut down on the buying of books. It´s not easy though, and yesterday I just had to buy a book about Astrid Lindgren. From 1971-2002 she and a young fan exchanged letters and these are now rendered in this book.

    • There is still time for the Lunar Chronicles, Anette 🙂 And I’m jealous of your Astrid Lindgren book! She made my childhood magical!!

Is it bad that I still haven’t read Cinder? I mean to pick it up all the time when I’m at work, but I just haven’t yet.

  6. You grabbed some good looking books, Lexxie! I’m so happy you found something to spend the GC on. 😉 I want to read the Lunar Chronicles myself, so I’m really hoping you enjoy these installments. I’m really interested to see what you think of Lori Foster in audio.

    **BIG HUGS**

  7. Nice! I still need to read the Lunar Chronicles. I had hoped to start a few days ago but the read was pushed back a few weeks. Hopefully the wait is worth it! I hope you enjoy all these. Happy Reading!
