The Sunday Post #3 – Weekly Wrap-up

Welcome to my weekly wrap-up post. I am signing up with Kimba over at The Caffeinated Reviewer, who is hosting this weekly event. This past week I didn’t really do much here on (un)Conventional Bookviews, as we were in Spain for our fall vacation.

We had awesome weather, and I swam in the Mediterranean every day. We also managed to find some really nice restaurants, where we had tapas, local wine and other goodies. Now, we’re back home where it’s pretty cold and gloomy, but it’s OK, since we’re all stocked up on sun 🙂

Tapas - (un)Conventional Bookviews
Some of the tapas we had one evening – we all enjoyed both our food and our drinks…
Beach - (un)Conventional Bookviews
This is taken from the balcony of the house we rented – early morning beach-view.
Sunset - (un)Conventional Bookviews
Spanish sunset – it was SO beautiful in real life!

    • Yeah, but actually, today isn’t too bad! I’ve been sitting outside on the terrace here at home in just T-shirt and jeans 🙂
Thanks for stopping by, have a great week yourself!

  1. Sounds like you had a nice vacation! Those tapas look really yummy! And that’s so awesome you could see the sea from the house you rented!

It’s getting pretty cold here as well, but I also like the colder weather as then I can wear my winter pyjamas and sit down on the couch with a good book.

    • I know! The view was amazing, and in the morning when my husband went cycling, I could stay on the balcony while the kids went swimming 😀
I agree about the nice and fluffy winter pajamas, maybe a fire and voilà.

Thanks for stopping by, Lola 🙂

    • Of course I shared some pictures, Laura 🙂 I always enjoy participating vicariously on other bloggers’ adventures, so yeah, pictures are a must 🙂
And it’s only a couple of months left until the Christmas holiday, so we’ll be able to hang in there.
      Thanks for stopping by.

  2. Oh my! It all looks so lovely, Lexxie. I’m glad you all had a good time – especially since you had to return to gloomy weather. We’ve already had our first snow here in mid-September. But we’ve been having sunny skies lately. The girls have their last competition tomorrow. Then marching band season is over for this year. *sigh*

Have a great week, my friend. **Big Hugs**
