Teaser Tuesday is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
- Grab your current read
- Open to a random page
- Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
Share the title and author, too, so that other Teaser Tuesday participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers.
Teaser Tuesday #16 – The Edge of Never
The Edge of Never – J. A. Redmerski
Summary: Twenty-year-old Camryn Bennett thought she knew exactly where her life was going. But after a wild night at the hottest club in downtown Raleigh, North Carolina, she shocks everyone-including herself-when she decides to leave the only life she’s ever known and set out on her own. Grabbing her purse and her cell phone, Camryn boards a Greyhound bus ready to find herself. Instead, she finds Andrew Parrish.
Sexy and exciting, Andrew lives life like there is no tomorrow. He persuades Camryn to do things she never thought she would and shows her how to give in to her deepest, most forbidden desires. Soon he becomes the center of her daring new life, pulling love and lust and emotion out of her in ways she never imagined possible. But there is more to Andrew than Camryn realizes. Will his secret push them inseparably together-or destroy them forever? My Teasers: The moment you tell someone else is the moment you become a whiner and the world’s smallest violin starts to play.
“I know it might be cliché,” I begin, “but it’s something I’ve always wanted to do – have you ever slept under the stars?” I feel a little silly asking. I guess because it is kind of cliché and nothing about Andrew thus far has come anywhere near cliché.
What’s your teaser today? Please share – it’s not as if a few more books on my TBR mountain will make that big of a difference 😉
Never heard about this book but that quote is really cute and toe curling. Hmmn.
And ROFLOL to this- it’s not as if a few more books on my TBR mountain will make that big of a difference
Yeah, I know… I keep on adding more and more books – I can’t help myself! If I disappear, I’m probably just trying to make way out from under a huge pile of books 🙂
Thanks for stopping by, Charlotte!
This is a book I’ve been meaning to read for…well, probably since I first heard about it. 🙂 I may even have it on my kindle…I’ll have to ‘dig’ through the stack to see! *grins* That’s a great teaser, Lexxie. I hope you’re enjoying it, because if you are, then I will. 🙂
Happy Tuesday, my friend! I wish you a fabulous day! *BIG HUGS*
I absolutely loved it, Brandee! It’s a solid five star story, lots of emotions and pretty dark at times, but so sweet and tender, too.
Happy Tuesday to you, too! *BIG HUGS* 🙂

My review will be up during the first week of February 🙂 And I’m eying the 2nd book too… I just have so many other books that are screaming for me to actually read them 🙂
I know that feeling very well… *sigh* Thanks for letting me know about the review, I’ll be sure not to miss it 😉

Yeah, I completely fell in love with the characters, too, Lindy 🙂
Thanks for stopping by!
I almost always enjoy stories where the heroine makes a drastic change in her life. This sounds like a good one.
My Teaser is from REFLECTIONS OF MAMIE.
Drastic life changes can be awesome. I truly loved The Edge of Never – there’s a cool road-trip, too.
Thanks for stopping by Sandra 🙂

The smallest violin quote gave me a giggle 🙂 I’m going to have to check out the book. Thanks for sharing Lexxie!
Yeah, that’s a funny quote, and not one I’ve heard before.
Thanks for stopping by Traci:)
Currently reading “Not the Killing type” by Lorna Barrett
“Sarge galloped down the hall to meet them, jumping up and down and wagging his tail so hard Tricia thought it might fall off.
‘Well, who’s this?’ Will asked, bending down to scratch behind the dog’s ears.
‘That’s Sarge. He’s Angelica’s protector.’
‘What a big brave boy you are, too.’ Will said, and Sarge jumped up to lick his face. ‘Down, boy, down!’ Will said, laughing.”
This sounds like it’s for a pretty young YA audience, am I correct, Xyra?
I hope you’re doing well 🙂
Hahaha…nope not YA. It’s an adult, cozy mystery.
Getting back to myself, thanks. *hugs*
I hope you are enjoying this book Lexxie! I loved it. Great teasers!
