Thirsty Thursday and Hungry Hearts #41
Welcome to Thirsty Thursday and Hungry Hearts, an original weekly meme hosted here at (un)Conventional Bookviews. So many of the books I read have food or drinks in them, some I’d love to try, and others I’d never ever want to taste… and I thought it could be interesting and fun to share some food and / or drink quotes… If you want to participate, you can grab my logo if you’d like, or you can make your own, but please link back to me in your own post.
The idea of Thirsty Thursday and Hungry Hearts is to share a quote with food or drinks that showed up in a recent read, as well as if it’s something you think you’d like or not. Please share the title of the book it happened in, as well as the character who ate or drank the special little something you discovered between the pages of a good read. Please link up beneath, and visit other bloggers who are participating in Thirsty Thursday and Hungry Hearts as well.
There is a lot of humor, hotness and great food in Kristen Ashley’s Rock Chick Redemption, so I’m sharing yet another Hungry Hearts from this one…
My Hungry Hearts quote:
Hank left me to my thoughts and my getting ready routine. While he scrambled eggs and made toast, I showered.
I was standing at his bathroom sink applying blusher when he brought me coffee and a plate of food. They were good scrambled eggs. A hint of garlic and some cheese, and the toast was toasted perfectly: not too light, not too brown and with a generous coating of real butter and grape jelly.
I found it immensely irritating that Hank was even a good fucking cook.
Thanks for stopping by today! Have a terrific Thursday, and don’t forget to link up!
HAH, that final line is great. I could use a guy that was good at cooking though, since I’m soo not.
She doesn’t really cook much either, which is why she’s a tiny bit upset with Hank – who seems to be able to do it all 🙂
He sounds like a great guy! Now I want eggs!
Ha! Just wait until Brandee shows up, she’s gonna want Hank 😉
LOL Should I ask this Hank to make me eggs? 😉
You just might get more than the eggs, Silvia ;9
It’s almost noon and I’m hungryyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy !!!!!!!!!!
So sorry, Iza!!
Yeah, it’s really not fair that the Hot Bunch is so hot and then talented in other ways. 😉 I didn’t do a post for today, Lex, because none of my reads had food/drink quotes. But I think I may do a Walk Through Fire encore real quick. 😀
**BIG HUGS**
LOL, they definitely have multiple talents, Brandee 😉 YAY an encore from Walk Through Fire would be perfect! Kristen Ashley knows how to mix good food with her hotness and romance, eh?
*BIG HUGS*
Sounds like a fun read. I might have to check this out. I’d heard about it before–and it of course made me hungry. 🙂
It is a fun read, Jazmen, and yeah, this author always makes me want to eat while I’m reading her books 🙂
Thanks for stopping by!
I am about to have a breakfast that is one I enjoy, but it’s boring compared to those scrambled eggs! Can I swap mine out for those? LOL
I guess you’ll have to find Hank and ask him, Laurel-Rain 😉
you know, I just ate and now I am hungry again ahahah mmmm
Eh, I need to find some drink quotes soon… that would just make us break out the alcohol, though 😉
Everytime I read this feature I get hungry. Especially when it’s breakfast food which is my favorite!
I agree, a good breakfast can be enjoyed any time 🙂
Sounds like they have a fun relationship going on. lol. I have the first book on my wishlist, but I’m thinking it will bumped up very soon.
They do have a lot of teasing going on, Christy, and this series is filled with fun, action and romance! I am pretty sure you’ll enjoy it.

Love breakfast and now I want it-since it’s 9:30 pm I guess it will have to be tomorrow. Great quote!
Breakfast for dinner is good, too, though, Lorna 😉
