2014 in Bookview

Can you believe we are starting a new year already? Where did 2014 disappear to? I have no idea, but I do have some fun statistics to share with you about my year here on (un)Conventional Bookviews. I was up to a lot of different things, but mostly, I posted reviews, and I had a pretty fantastic year, enjoying most of the books I read immensely. I am happy to share my year in bookview with you, but it’s also a great way for me to start to organize things for 2015. As I was preparing this post, I realized that I have posted 240 reviews here on the blog in 2014 – that’s an average of 20 reviews each month, and I have to say it’s going to be hard to live up to that in 2014.

WOW, I had no idea I had read and reviewed so many books I had received from Netgalley! No wonder I feel like I hardly ever read or review books I buy myself, eh?

I want to take the opportunity to wish you all the best for 2015! I hope the new year will be filled with love, success, good health, new friendships, and of course lots of excellent books.

    • I know! I read even more books, but I haven’t reviewed every single one on here. I hope 2015 will be an amazing year for you as well, iza!

    • Maybe I read a book that others would have labeled horror, but I didn’t think it was? (trying to find an excuse here… 😉 )
Yeah, I really did rock those Netgalley reviews, which I why I’m so happy for the HW challenge that will ‘make me’ read more of the books I have actually paid for.
I wish you a fantastic 2015, too, Stormi! I look forward to the many challenges we are both doing 🙂

    • I guess many people thought if Shinigami Eyes like horror… Not sure why I didn’t list it that way 🙂

      Thanks for stopping by, Lola.

  1. You had an excellent year in 2014, Lexxie! I can’t believe all those ARCs from Netgalley either!! I’m sure your rating is 5-star there! 😉 I’m impressed with all the different genres as well. I should take a look at time but I’d bet I’m primarily contemporary and New Adult. *ha* Well, it won’t be like that in 2015. I have such a wide variety of books on my shelves to choose from. 🙂

I know you’ll be every bit as successful in 2015 as you were in 2014…both blogging-wise, and personally. I wish you luck in everything, good health, lots of time to read lots more fabulous books, and safe travels…especially on your trip here in May. 😉 **BIG HUGS**

    • Yes, I did have a good year in 2014. Heh, is 80% almost like a five star, you think?

Thank you very much, Brandee! I so look forward to May, it’s going to be so nice to meet you in person, spend time with you, and just have fun, chat books, and meet authors and other bloggers 🙂

      *BIG HUGS*
