2014 in Bookview
Can you believe we are starting a new year already? Where did 2014 disappear to? I have no idea, but I do have some fun statistics to share with you about my year here on (un)Conventional Bookviews. I was up to a lot of different things, but mostly, I posted reviews, and I had a pretty fantastic year, enjoying most of the books I read immensely. I am happy to share my year in bookview with you, but it’s also a great way for me to start to organize things for 2015. As I was preparing this post, I realized that I have posted 240 reviews here on the blog in 2014 – that’s an average of 20 reviews each month, and I have to say it’s going to be hard to live up to that in 2014.

WOW, I had no idea I had read and reviewed so many books I had received from Netgalley! No wonder I feel like I hardly ever read or review books I buy myself, eh?
I want to take the opportunity to wish you all the best for 2015! I hope the new year will be filled with love, success, good health, new friendships, and of course lots of excellent books.
Wow, that’s a lot of books, on top of getting your diploma, this is quite an achievement 😉 I wish you the best for 2015, health and happiness and money and love, mwah !
I know! I read even more books, but I haven’t reviewed every single one on here. I hope 2015 will be an amazing year for you as well, iza!

That’s a ton of reading on top of going to school. Can’t wait to see what’s in store for 2015.
I agree, I think 2015 will be a fantastic year, Melanie 🙂
You had a great 2014! I hope 2015 is even better for you 🙂
I did, and I’m actually a little amazed at that, Christy 🙂 Thanks for stopping by.
2014 certainly did move along quickly!

That is lot of books girl! No Horror..tisk tisk..you need to read at least one..lol. 😉 You really rocked the netgalley reviews so no wonder you got just a great percentage! 🙂 Happy New Year!! Here is to great things in 2015!
Maybe I read a book that others would have labeled horror, but I didn’t think it was? (trying to find an excuse here… 😉 )
Yeah, I really did rock those Netgalley reviews, which I why I’m so happy for the HW challenge that will ‘make me’ read more of the books I have actually paid for.
I wish you a fantastic 2015, too, Stormi! I look forward to the many challenges we are both doing 🙂
I liked seeing how many books you read in each genre and rating. I see lots of romance :). btw didn’t you read that Shinigami eyes book, wouldn’t count as horror?
Happy New Year!
I guess many people thought if Shinigami Eyes like horror… Not sure why I didn’t list it that way 🙂
Thanks for stopping by, Lola.
You had an excellent year in 2014, Lexxie! I can’t believe all those ARCs from Netgalley either!! I’m sure your rating is 5-star there! 😉 I’m impressed with all the different genres as well. I should take a look at time but I’d bet I’m primarily contemporary and New Adult. *ha* Well, it won’t be like that in 2015. I have such a wide variety of books on my shelves to choose from. 🙂
I know you’ll be every bit as successful in 2015 as you were in 2014…both blogging-wise, and personally. I wish you luck in everything, good health, lots of time to read lots more fabulous books, and safe travels…especially on your trip here in May. 😉 **BIG HUGS**
Yes, I did have a good year in 2014. Heh, is 80% almost like a five star, you think?
Thank you very much, Brandee! I so look forward to May, it’s going to be so nice to meet you in person, spend time with you, and just have fun, chat books, and meet authors and other bloggers 🙂

Wow Lexxie, those are some impressive stats! I read a lot more for myself this year and I’m so glad I did, but boy do I wish I was reviewing so many books each month!
Here’s to another amazing year! 5 months!!!!
This is why the HW challenge is going to help me this year, Berls! Yes!! Only 5 months!!!
