2016 New Release Challenge Update – January
The first month of 2016 is already over, can you believe it? Have you read many books for the challenge so far? I hope you’re doing well and are on track based on the level you have challenged yourself to. January is often a busy month, even if the festivities and the stress around that is over, but hopefully, you have had time to enjoy some new books as well as write some reviews, and I’m sure at least a few of those books are 2016 releases.
This challenge is hosted by Stormi @ Books, Movies, Reviews! Oh My and me, Lexxie @ (un)Conventional Bookviews. We are definitely having fun with the challenge, and we hope you are, too!
If you haven’t signed up yet, you still have a couple of weeks before the sign-up for the 2016 New Release Challenge closes. You can find the sign-up post here.
I’ve already read and reviewed 9 2016 releases, and I’m happy with my progress so far. Here’s a list of the books I’ve read:
- The Fractured Heart by Scarlett Cole
- The Heat Is On by Katie Rose
- Review: Firsts – Laurie Elizabeth Flynn
- Wicked Lust by Sawyer Bennett
- This Is Where It Ends by Marieke Nijkamp
- Tackling the Tight End by Tara Lain
- What Was Mine by Helen Klein Ross
- Unconventional by Avery Aster
- Passenger 19 by Ward Larsen
You can link up all your New Release reviews here:
This linkup is open from January 31st through February 5th, 2016. Thanks for stopping by and for participating in the 2016 New Release Challenge with us.
Wow, 9 new books already? That’s awesome!! Congrats on your progress.
I have so many eARCs I could read only 2016 releases for a couple of months, Lauren 🙂
You’re making good progress! I also had a good start, just counted and I read 5 new releases so far and am currently reading the 6th one.
That’s great, Lola 🙂 I’m so happy with the books I’ve read, because most of them were really good, too 🙂
I’ve only got 4 books so far, but I will be adding a lot more come February.
That’s still really good, though, Mark! And there are quite a few reviews up already, too! Which makes me add more new releases to my shelves 🙂
You’ve done great, Lexxie! I’ve read quite a few new releases this month, but I haven’t gotten any reviewed yet! That will change in February….
That’s OK, we need to enjoy reading those books before we sit down and think about our review 🙂
You’re making fantastic progress, Lexxie! I’ve read more new releases than I intended to – isn’t that always how it goes for me? I need to get linked up though. It’s on my to-do list. 🙂 **BIG HUGS**
LOL it’s just that there are SO many amazing new releases already, right? *BIG HUGS*
Great progress Lexxie! My first one will be this Sunday. Mercury Striking
