On June 2nd, I’m celebrating my fourth Blogoversary, and I want to celebrate with you! I especially want to share something special with my European blogger friends, because most giveaways in the blogosphere are open for US and Canadian bloggers. I have four beatuiful paperbacks to share with four lucky winner! All of the books are signed by their authors, which makes them extra precious, in my opinion. Happy blogoversary! And an European only giveaway is such a neat idea. Like you said there are a lot of giveaways for US only which is a shame sometimes. There are giveaway when I am not even sure if I can enter or not as it’s not listed clearly. I even won a giveaway once and then heard it was US only, which was a shame.
Concerning what I like to see on blogs, I like most type of posts. I like reviews (coincidentally I have a post about that on my blog today), discussion posts and also other type of posts or memes. And recaps are always fun too, so you can heard what’s going on in other blogger’s their live. There are few posts I really don’t read actually, maybe if the topic really doesn’t interest me, but that rarely ever happens.
I’m glad you think a European giveaway is a good idea 🙂 I know that a lot of the giveaways on other blogs are US only, and it’s always a bit sad when I can’t participate. I know that quite a few of the bloggers who visit me live in Europe, so I wanted to share my blogoversary with them (you!!) as well.

Happy Blogaversary, Lexxie. I think it’s awesome that you are doing something special for your European friends. When I do personal giveaways I let anyone enter. It can get costly, but it’s not like I do it every week. Here’s to many more years !

Happy blogaversary Lexxie! I love that you’re doing both European and International giveaways, especially the European one because as you said, a lot of giveaways are US/Canada only. I understand that the shipping is costly but I really dislike when it’s not stated clearly that it’s US/Canada only – or if it’s stated on small print at the end of the post when I have gotten all excited about the giveaway. So I kind of wish that it would always be stated clearly at the beginning if it’s only for some countries. But yeah, I’m actually really happy that I moved to UK last year because that alone has given me a lot more chances when it comes to giveaways (I’m originally from Finland so it was very limited on what I could participate).
I like discussion posts, reviews, and tags a lot.
I believe there are more chances for giveaways, but also for ARCs when you live in the UK, Henna. Do you get unsolicitated ARCs sent directly to your house now?
And I completely agree, it’s very sad when the giveaway post doesn’t share from the very start that it’s limited to certain territories, because we all love giveaways, right?
