It drives my dad nuts I'm such a goody-two-shoes, but the fact that I'm a virgin makes smoke pour from his ears. See, I'm determined to save myself for love, but daddy dear, more commonly known as Lucifer, just wants me to stop being an embarrassment. Would it kill you to sin a little? Maybe he'll get his wish, because I met an intriguing hunk last night in my bar. Could he be the one? He certainly melts my panties like marshmallows over the coals of Hell, but do I dare trust him? My last boyfriend thought he'd gain infamy by killing me. He's infamous all right. Dad had him mounted on a wall, his version of modern art titled, "Touch my baby girl and die." My love life isn't the only thing I've got to worry about. There's someone threatening the denizens of Hell, and while my daddy says to not worry my pretty little head about it, I am involved because whoever is behind the attacks keeps coming after me. Bring it. I'm not afraid.

Lucifer’s Daughter is Fun, feisty and with enough action to keep you compelled and immersed in the story from start to finish.

Review - (un)Conventional Bookviews

Any time I pick up a Langlais book, I’m pretty sure I’ll get lots of humor, lots of sexy hotness, and a good story to entertain me. That’s also what I got with Lucifer’s Daughter, Muriel was a hoot, and her being a virgin made dear old daddy Satan mad! She really needed to sin more – if not, people might think he was failing at being bad. Muriel had decided to wait for love before sharing herself fully, though, both because a lot of guys would do anything to tap Lucifer’s Daughter… and others would do anything to kill her.

Enter Auric and his friends, and the chemistry went through the roof! As did the fun and the action. Someone was staging a coup in Hell, and they weren’t averse to using Muriel to do so. Good thing her magic was getting stronger every day, and when she was attacked, she was faster than the devil himself 😉  Needless to say, Lucifer’s Daughter was a hoot! It had all the action, a lot of goofiness, hot smexiness and a good story, too. I can’t wait to come back to this series soon, and I’ll continue with the audio version, as Rebecca Estrella did a really good job with the narration.

Fave Quotes - (un)Conventional Bookviews

“Sorry, I got hung up or I’d have been here earlier. I made sure I made it for closing, though. I didn’t want the streets to suffer if you walked alone.”

“For the world’s biggest slut, Bambi was an awesome big sister. And no, that wasn’t an insult; Bambi took pride in winning the title year after year.”

    Eve Langlais is an author that’s been on my must-read list for a while… I think you put her there actually. This one sounds like a great place to start – I love that the protagonist is Lucifer’s daughter! And a virgin! Yeah – you don’t expect his daughter to save herself, do you? Great review!

    Happy 2017! I hope the year is off to a great start for you and your family. {HUGS}

    • Your comments last week were somehow sent to ‘pending’ not to spam… I have let them all free, don’t worry about it 🙂 I often check both the spam folder and the pending folder, as it happens quite often that comments aren’t posted straight away 🙂
      Yeah, Satan’s daughter with fun, goof and sexiness plus a little mystery to keep me even more entertained 🙂

    Never heard of this author, but I have to admit that she sounds quite clever and funny. I imagine that Lucifer might have a kid running around who happens to be a virgin AND works in a bar. (lol) Life has to be interesting for sure! Happy New Year!

  3. This is the series that put Eve Langlais on my radar. I don’t remember where I saw this book, but the idea of a goody two shoes as the devil’s daughter made me laugh. Good to know that this series is fun on audio. I might have to do a revisit sometime soon. I just read, Hells Bells, in which Lucifer gets his own book. It was so much fun. 🙂 I think it is technically, part of the Welcome to Hell series, which is a spin off of this one and some of the books overlap with each other.

    • I can’t remember which of hers was my first Langlais book, Melanie, I’d have to check my Goodreads to know for sure. I have truly enjoyed all of hers that I’ve read, though. And now, I want to read Hells Bells (maybe I have it?)… The audios are really nice, so yeah, a good way to revisit 😉
