Bought, Bagged and Wrapping it Up is where I share my new books, as well as what happened here at (un)Conventional Bookviews and elsewhere in the blogoshpere. I’m linking up with the usual suspects, AKA Team Tynga’s Reviews, Talk Supe and Caffeinated Reviewer.

STS #142 – Bought Borrowed & Bagged #92

Stacking The Shelves, hosted by Tynga’s Reviews is all about the latest additions to your library – virtual or actual, with books that are  bought, borrowed, won or ARCs  you will be reading soon. Bought Borrowed and Bagged is a homage to to Barron’s Books and Baubles from KMM’ Fever series, and is hosted by Braine over at Talk Supe. Without further ado, here’s what I bought, borrowed or bagged this past week:

The Sunday Post # – Wrapping it Up

Kim @ The Caffeinated Reviewer, is our hostess with the mostest for the weekly Sunday Post where I’m wrapping things up. It is the perfect opportunity to share what happened here on my own blog, as well as some of the happenings elsewhere in the Blogosphere.

I’ve had some exciting news this week, but I’m going to have to wait another couple of weeks to make sure everything will work out exactly as planned before I share fully. (And yes, I know, right? Totally frustrating of me to tease you like this 😉 ) Little by little my family is going back home, my oldest son left last Saturday to spend a week with friends before going home, on Thursday, my husband and two of the other kids left, and on Monday, my sister and her two kids are leaving as well. For the next few weeks, it’ll only be littlest Ms. Lex and Freddy staying here in Spain me.

I’m still really happy to be close to the sea, even if we do spend a little less time at the beach these days. We go for walks and visit other, nearby villages instead, though. Plus, we get some more reading done, so it’s a total win!

This week’s Freddy in action:
Freddy
This picture was taken when we spent the day in Girona, and we had water with us for Freddy just to make sure he’d get enough to drink.
Here, Freddy is taking a break (with some of us...) while my sister and her kids visit the Girona cathedral.

  1. Seriously, why you gotta tease us like that?! I wanna know what the exciting news is lol. I’m glad you’re enjoying your time in Spain, it sounds so nice there. By the way, Freddy looks like he’s giving someone some sort of sarcastic, one-eyebrow-raised type of look in that second picture lol.

Thanks for sharing my post and have a great week!

  2. Looks like you and Freddy are having a great time-the idea of a nice peaceful summer away from home with a cute puppy and lots of reading time sounds so great! I’m dead jealous!

  3. You’re such a tease. LOL. Sounds like you’ve had a great time in Spain. A little time with just you, Freddy and some great books sounds like a fun time. I have arcs right now. It was quite a difficult decision to make yesterday which of my own audiobooks to start yesterday. I only had 10+ already downloaded to choose from. LOL

  4. Oooo I can’t wait to hear your news and I hope it all goes according to plan too. Some great ARCs you got there. How do you get audio books as ARCs I’m always curious?! Have a great week with Freddy.

  5. Haha! Now I’m REALLY excited to know what the news is, Lexxie. You’ve done a fabulous job teasing us all! 😀
Freddie is such a cute little thing! I’m glad you guys are having fun and are enjoying yourselves.
I hope all those books are great! I’m particularly curious to hear your thoughts on the Sawyer Bennett books. I’ve liked most of her books in the past, but I’m not sure if her newest ones are for me.
    Have a great week!

  6. Some alone time by the sea with a fur baby sounds like heaven to me..,.but then again, I’m a total introvert LOL! Freddy is still adorable and you are a TOTAL tease with your good news hint. Bad Lexxie! Hahahah! Have a lovely weekend my friend ♥

  7. Oh, now I’m waiting with bated breath, as they say in the books we read….it sounds like wonderful news. I think Freddy knows, however, judging by that look on his face, tongue hanging out. LOL.

Enjoy your weekend…and your new books. Here are MY WEEKLY UPDATES

  8. Whatever the news is, congrats! And glad you guys are having a good time- that cathedral sounds nice. Freddy looks like he’s having a good time! Not a bad life huh? lol hope you guys have another great week!

  9. Freddy is adorable! I love Fur babies. I have an ARC of Rock Wedding as well. I’m interested to see your review in the future. I’ve read every Nalini Singh book out there EXCEPT this series. I have no idea what is holding me back lol

  10. Looks like you’re having a lovely time with some great weather – and yes, I’m deeply jealous given that we seem to be stuck in April here in England… Though the forecasters have promised us two more days of sun before the thunderstorms roll in once more! Looking forward to hearing your news next week and in the meantime continue to have a great holiday:)

  11. You are totally going to send me a message and tell me what it is right!!!! 😉 I seriously can’t wait to here what it is!

It must be so nice and it will now be nice and quiet just you and the little one (and Freddy) It really sounds so peaceful. Enjoy the week, Lexxie! Still miss you!!! Happy Reading!

  12. Now i’m super curious but the waiting is the worst. Sounds like you are having an amazing time in Spain even if the family has all left you have Freddie to keep you company. He’s so darn cute it just melts my heart. I wish my pups could travel a lot easier, they are huge and a plane would be awful. Looks like you added some lovely books. I hope you have an amazing week. I hope you get some reading in between those walks.

  13. Congrats and we all can’t wait to hear your exciting news. Freddie is adorable and it sounds like you are having a relaxing time. I hope you have a great week and enjoy your new books.

  15. Tease 😉 Hope the news is good news for you! Love your Freddie pics. Glad you are having a good time in Spain. I’d love to visit Europe some day….maybe when the kids are grown, my husband and I can take our honeymoon (finally!). You got some great books this week, hope you enjoy!

  16. Aww! Freddie looks like he’s worn out from your adventures. Enjoy your time at the beach. I’m curious about those Erica Ridley books. I’ve seen them but know nothing about her but they really good. Can’t wait to hear your exciting news! Have a great week!

  17. oh I can’t wait to hear about your news!!! So jealous you are so close to the sea. So envious about Rock Wedding, but the day it comes out I am buying it. Especially since I have read some amazing reviews on that one.
