Bought, Bagged and Wrapping it Up is where I share my new books, as well as what happened here at (un)Conventional Bookviews and elsewhere in the blogoshpere. I’m linking up with the usual suspects, AKA Team Tynga’s Reviews, Talk Supe and Caffeinated Reviewer.

STS #149 – Bought Borrowed & Bagged #99

Stacking The Shelves, hosted by Tynga’s Reviews is all about the latest additions to your library – virtual or actual, with books that are  bought, borrowed, won or ARCs  you will be reading soon. Bought Borrowed and Bagged is a homage to to Barron’s Books and Baubles from KMM’ Fever series, and is hosted by Braine over at Talk Supe. Without further ado, here’s what I bought, borrowed or bagged this past week:

The Sunday Post #99 – Wrapping it Up

Kim @ The Caffeinated Reviewer, is our hostess with the mostest for the weekly Sunday Post where I’m wrapping things up. It is the perfect opportunity to share what happened here on my own blog, as well as some of the happenings elsewhere in the Blogosphere.

Not much happened for me, personally, this week. We got our new couches, and it took us forever to put them together. My youngest kids went back to school, so the house was a bit more quiet, but apart from that, everything kept moving on as usual. Next week is going to be different, though 😀 On Wednesday, Mr. Lex and I are going to NYC for a few days. Both to celebrate his 50th birthday, and the fact that we met 26 years ago 🙂 We have some fun stuff planned, but mostly, we’re excited about being just the two of us for a few days.

This week’s Freddy in action:

  1. Quiet weeks are nice. Have fun in NYC and happy early birthday to Mr. Lex. 🙂

That last picture with the rainbow behind Freddy is neat.

Blood Red Kiss looks great with favorite PNR writers all together in one.

  2. NYC! That should be an awesome trip. Good for you guys- enjoy! And love the rainbow pic.

A Torch Against the Night seems to be getting a lot of attention! Must be good… and I like that cover of Blood Red Kiss too. Have a great weekend. 🙂

I love quite weeks – we need them! How exciting that you’re headed to NYC! You should try and connect with Michelle and Scott while y’all are there – she lives in NJ! Of course that will make me extremely jealous, but I’d get over it for y’all 😉 loving the Freddy Pictures! Hugs!

  4. Oooh nice new reads!! Hope you enjoy them all!!

  6. I read Her Naughty Holiday by Tiffany Reisz for RT Book Reviews and really enjoyed it. Prepare for a laugh lol. Enjoy your week Lexxie!!

  7. Oh Lexxie NYC, that sounds great! Very exciting! (And kid-free!!!)

I’m getting some new furniture delivered this week and am already dreading the idea of trying to put it together… Particularly alone, cos it’s sometimes hard to hold one end and do something with the other!

  9. Have fun in NYC! I haven’t been back since BEA 14 and I want to go SO BAD!

I will have to get When Stars Collide and Rae of Sunshine! I’ve been seeing them everywhere.

  10. Yes… it always takes Himself and me a long light year to put furniture together, so these days we tend to buy things already done:). Have a great time in NYC – as it happens, Himself is also 50 this week, though he has to work through his birthday so we’ve postponed celebrations till later in the month. And congratulations on 26 years – a real achievement:)

  11. You got some good looking books – especially Reisz’. 😉 But I’m checking out Smeltzer’s too. And it sounds like your week as a whole was pretty good. There’s nothing wrong with having a bit of a quiet week. I’m looking forward to one this week, where we don’t have something every single night. 🙂 Thanks for the Freddy pics. He’s so cute! I hope your week is spectacular! You and Mr. Lex enjoy your trip!! *BIG HUGS* <3
