Today’s question is : What drove you to start book blogging in the first place?
My personal answer is that I love reading, and I love sharing my love for books. I thought that Goodreads was one way to do it, but through GR, I discovered many great book blogs, and I felt like I have something to say and share in the blogging world as well 🙂

Thanks for stopping by my blog. Old Follower.I find that on GR- except a private group I belong to- I sometimes feel constrained when discussing a book. If I don't like something, I sometimes don't want to say it if (almost) everyone else liked it. Not because I'm a coward, but because if someone enjoys something I don't want to take away from that. But on my blog, I can say what I want. Also I find that I read each book as if I'm going to review it- which is a different way of reading.
I mostly post reviews on Goodreads, I don't discuss the books all that much, apart from with people who share the same view I do. It would never occur to me to go on a positive review to discuss that reviewer's opinion if I didn't like the book. Same for the opposite.I also read books differently now, but I think that is as much because I now study English literature as it is because I review everything I read 🙂
There will never be enough time to read all the books that I want to read! That TBR pile just keeps growing! Books in my bedroom, books in my living room, books on my Kindle – it never ends!

I started out on Goodreads – now I only post short versions of reviews there as I think most people on there prefer to skim a number of reviews. I go into more depth on my blog 🙂
