Feature and Follow by Parajunkee and AlisonCanRead

YAY it’s Friday!

Gain new followers and make new friends with the Book Blogger Feature and Follow! If this is your first time here, welcome! You are about to make some new friends and gain new followers — but you have to know — the point of this hop is to follow other bloggers also. I follow you, you follow me.

The Feature and Follow is hosted by TWO hosts, Rachel of Parajunkee’s View and Alison of Alison Can Read. Each host will have their own Feature Blog and this way it’ll allow us to meet more new bloggers!

What sets this Hop apart from others, is that our hosts feature two blogs. Every week they will each showcase a Featured Blogger, from all different genres and areas. Just remember it is required, if you participate, to follow both their featured as well as our lovely hosts as a courtesy. How do you follow someone? Well, if you have a preference, state it in your #FF post. I prefer being followed via Linky or Google+; or you can like my facebook page. If you prefer e-mail or RSS, that’s good as well. And as of yesterday, I have been able to add GFC back on my blog, even if I’m still on WordPress YAY!

As you can imagine, this is a great way to get to know your fellow bloggers better, as well as a way to find new blogs, and be seen by more people yourself.

Now on to this week’s question:Q: Happy Mardi Gras! If they were throwing the HOTTEST books off of a Mardi Gras float — what would you do to have them throw to you…?

I guess that depends on what, exactly you mean by hot 😀 Seriously, though, some hot books I’d like to get my hands on now would be for example The Indigo Spell, that’s a book I’d love to read, even with almost too much hype surrounding it lately. Another I really look forward to is Up From the Grave in the Night Huntress series – I’m positively longing for Cat and *sigh* Bones! And as for what I would do for them… I think I’d just have loads of European goodies with me, chocolate, beer and biscuits that aren’t all that common, and make an exchange. Now, if that doesn’t work, I might just have to throw myself at the float, and let them know that if they want be back off of it – I need books.

What about you? What hot books would you like to be thrown right into your hand off a Mardi Gras float? Please do share 🙂

Thanks for stopping by today, have a fantastic Friday and a wonderful weekend!

    • *sigh* I know, right? Bones is the best husband in literature, and Cat is pretty badass and I love her!
      Thanks for stopping by Jessica.

    • That sounds like a good plan! I haven’t heard anything about that book yet… maybe I should check it out.
Thanks for stopping by Mari 🙂 God helg!

    • I think the Nighthuntress series is my favorite paranormal series ever! I love everything about it. I hope you’ll like it as well, and I look forward to seeing what you think about it later.

    • Thanks for stopping by Raina, and for both liking my FB page and following via GFC 🙂
I am impatiently waiting for Indigo Spell, and if you like paranormal romance with fun vampires, you should definitely check out the Night Huntress series.
      Have a wonderful weekend.

  1. I can’t wait to read Up From the Grave either! I need more Cat & Bones!!! Bribe them with beer…it’s Mardi Gras it’ll work 🙂 Thanks for stopping by this week. Old follower.

    • yeah, I figured beer and Mardi Gras should go well together, and if they’re not used to that brand of beer all the better, right?
Thanks for stopping by Traci 🙂

  2. Marissa @ For The Love Of Film And Novels

    Great answer 🙂
Thanks for stopping by my blog.
    New Follower!

  3. The Vampire Academy was and still is my fave vampire series! I read Bloodlines, but didn’t like it too much because I was more interested in what was happening with Rose than Sydney. =/ Glad you enjoyed the series so far though! 🙂

Thanks for stopping by! Old Follower.

    • Before I started reading Bloodlines, I wasn’t sure I’d like it, because I didn’t really like Sydney all that much in VA. However, she became more fleshed out and showed more of her feelings in Bloodlines, so now I really like her.
I would like to see more of Rose, though, but every little Dimitri sighting makes my heart beat faster 😀

  4. I completely agree with your list of HOT books Lexxie! I love your answer for what you would do for them as well 🙂 I’m a old Linky follower and didn’t realize I wasn’t following GFC so now I am 😀 Jaclyn @ JC’s Book Haven

    • Thanks for the GFC follow Jacklyn, I only just managed to add it, as it normally doesn’t work on WordPress blogs 🙂
      I hope you’re having a good weekend!
