Feature and Follow #39

YAY it’s Friday!

Gain new followers and make new friends with the Book Blogger Feature and Follow! If this is your first time here, welcome! You are about to make some new friends and gain new followers — but you have to know — the point of this hop is to follow other bloggers also. I follow you, you follow me.

The Feature and Follow is hosted by TWO hosts, Rachel of Parajunkee’s View and Alison of Alison Can Read. Each host will have their own Feature Blog and this way it’ll allow us to meet more new bloggers!

What sets this Hop apart from others, is that our hosts feature two blogs. Every week they will each showcase a Featured Blogger, from all different genres and areas. Just remember it is required, if you participate, to follow both their featured as well as our lovely hosts as a courtesy. How do you follow someone? Well, if you have a preference, state it in your Feature and follow post. I prefer being followed via Linky or Google+; or you can like my facebook page. If you prefer e-mail or RSS, that’s good as well. Although I am on a selfhosted WordPress blog – I have been able to add GFC back on my blog, you can find out how in my tutorial.

Question of the week :
We are about to see a lot of posts & tweets about reader conventions, RT, BEA, ALA and many more are starting soon. Which one would you love to attend? Where and why?
I think I’d like to go to BEA – both because it’s in New York, and I love New York! And also because I have some friends who are going. There are also several authors whose books I enjoy who will be there, which would make the convention pretty much perfect for me.

What about you? Is there a convention you’d love to attend? Or are you greedy and would choose them all if you could?

Thanks for stopping by today, have a fantastic Friday and a wonderful weekend.

  1. Jessica@a GREAT read

I’d love to go to BEA too! But probably won’t. NYC is scary to me for some reason. I guess because I look like I’m 17-18 that I fear something would happen to me! I know it’s silly since I’ve gone to 2 RTs now on my own!

    Here’s my Follow Friday

    Have a GREAT weekend!

    Old Follower 🙂

    • I love NYC – it’s really not a scary city at all! Maybe one day, we’ll go together?

Thanks for stopping by today Jessica – have a wonderful weekend.

    • Thanks for stopping by, Sierra 🙂 I agree about the costs in NY, and I think a lot of hotels will be completely booked for the period of the BEA long in advance.

    • YAY! And I’m actually not even sure what I’d love the most – meeting awesome authors, or meeting fun bloggers.

I’ve heard so much about BEA and I’d love to go! But I live in India, so even if I do, its not sometime in the foreseeable future 😀

New Follower via GFC, Linky Followers, and Networked Blogs and followed via GR. And new liker on Facebook as well 🙂

    • WOW, that’s a lot of way to follow, thank you!

Even farther away for you – but wouldn’t it be fun to make it one day?

      have a great weekend 🙂

    • I have been to NYC twice, and I just love that city! It feels like anything is possible there!

Thanks for stopping by Micheline, have a fantastic weekend yourself 🙂

    • YAY for going back to college Stormi! I did that 2.5 years ago, and I love it – even if it means less $… What are you going to study?

Have a great weekend my friend 🙂

  4. Following on to your comment over on my blog, WorldCon is definitely set for London next year. It is scheduled for August 14-August 18, 2014 and is to be named Loncon 3. Here is the Loncon 3 website.

Sadly, due to his announcement of his terminal illness, they won’t have Iain M. Banks as their guest of honor for the convention.

    Aaron (Dreaming About Other Worlds).

    • I know it’s really sad about Iain M. Banks, but I think the way he’s dealing with it is really admirable!

Thanks for letting me know about the WorldCon, I’ll definitely check it out, and see if any of my European blogger friends are planning on going.

    • LOL if I could I’d definitely try to go to all as well, I have to admit. But I doubt that will ever be the case, so BEA it is.

Thanks for stopping by, Jessica. Enjoy your weekend.
