feature and follow 2013 - Parajunkee and Alison Can Read (un)Conventional Bookviews

Feature and Follow #41

YAY it’s Friday!

Gain new followers and make new friends with the Book Blogger Feature and Follow! If this is your first time here, welcome! You are about to make some new friends and gain new followers — but you have to know — the point of this hop is to follow other bloggers also. I follow you, you follow me.

The Feature and Follow is hosted by TWO hosts, Rachel of Parajunkee’s View and Alison of Alison Can Read. Each host will have their own Feature Blog and this way it’ll allow us to meet more new bloggers!

What sets this Hop apart from others, is that our hosts feature two blogs. Every week they will each showcase a Featured Blogger, from all different genres and areas. Just remember it is required, if you participate, to follow both their featured as well as our lovely hosts as a courtesy. How do you follow someone? Well, if you have a preference, state it in your Feature and follow post. I prefer being followed via Linky or Google+; or you can like my facebook page. If you prefer e-mail or RSS, that’s good as well.

This week’s question:

Is there a song that reminds you of a book?

Under The Bridge by Red Hot Chilli Peppers makes me think of Where She Went by Gayle Forman- because Adam always feels so lonely.

Under The Bridge

What about you? Is there a song that makes you think of a book? Please do share 🙂

Thanks for stopping by today, have a fabulous Friday and a wonderful weekend!

    • Thanks for stopping by, Jessica. I have to admit it took me a while today to find an answer, because not only did I have to find a book I love, but also a song to help describe it…

      Have a wonderful weekend yourself!

    • I couldn’t either – it took me quite a whle this morning 😀

Thanks for stopping by, Stormi. Have a wonderful weekend.

    • I loved it – and it made Gayle Forman get on my ‘auto-buy’ list of authors!

Have a wonderful weekend, Shane 🙂 Thanks for stopping by.

    • If you have read If I Stay and liked that, you just might like Where She Went even more…

Thanks for stopping by Alison 🙂 Have a wonderful weekend!

    • YAY my choice makes sense to someone other than myself 😀

Thanks for stopping by, Lisa! I hope you’re not being too busy today 😉

    • Oh, Aman, Where She Went is a lot more about Adam than Mia! And it makes some things a lot more easy to understand.

Thanks for stopping by 🙂 Have a wonderful weekend!

  1. Hi, Lexxie! Hopping on by as I’ve just joined and posted my first FFF. So many blogs, my fingers are going to fall off. Glad you are able to connect a song to a book. I like to read in silence although I love music, too. I just get distracted and start singing along. So, rather read in peace. 🙂

    Thanks,

Thanks for stopping by to comment and follow.

    • Thanks for stopping by, Daphne. I always find new books to add to my TBR during the FF posts.

I hope your weekend will be wonderful.

  2. I haven’t yet read either of Gayle Forman’s books, but they’re on the list! But I do love me some RHCP! I saw them last year in concert and they still kick some serious butt! Hearing this song live was AMAZING! I still have a little on video of the crowd singing and it gives me chills.

Thanks for stopping by my FF!

    • YAY for RHCP – I saw them live last year as well, and I was amazed – they are in great shape, and I agree, I got chills as well when they Under the Bridge .

I hope you’ll have a wonderful weekend, Jessica, thanks for stopping by.
