feature and follow 2013 - Parajunkee and Alison Can Read (un)Conventional Bookviews

Feature and Follow #45

YAY it’s Friday!

Gain new followers and make new friends with the Book Blogger Feature and Follow! If this is your first time here, welcome! You are about to make some new friends and gain new followers — but you have to know — the point of this hop is to follow other bloggers also. I follow you, you follow me.

The Feature and Follow is hosted by TWO hosts, Rachel of Parajunkee’s View and Alison ofAlison Can Read. Each host will have their own Feature Blog and this way it’ll allow us to meet more new bloggers!

What sets this Hop apart from others, is that our hosts feature two blogs. Every week they will each showcase a Featured Blogger, from all different genres and areas. Just remember it is required, if you participate, to follow both their featured as well as our lovely hosts as a courtesy. How do you follow someone? Well, if you have a preference, state it in your Feature and follow post. I prefer being followed via e-mail, RSS / Bloglovin’ or Google+; or you can like my facebook page, or even follow me on Twitter.

This week’s question:

Q: The #FF is 150 weeks old! And we want to hear from you! What would you change about the hop? What do you like about it? Or just suggest a question to be used for next week!

Congrats on being 150 weeks old! Rachel and Alison are doing a great job with the #FF, and I love participating each week. I love that there are two features, and I love that both our lovely hostesses features one on her blog. I can’t think of anything I’d like to change about the hop – apart from maybe knowing the question before the posts go up… I live in Europe, and when I get up on Friday morning, I actually run to my computer to see the question, and get my blog on the linky 😉

As for a question to be used, that must be really hard each week to come up with something new and fresh! Now that the #FF is 150, I am sure there are close to 150 different questions, so why not reuse some of them? The most popular ones (or when Rachel and Alison feel mean – the least popular ones;) )

Thanks for stopping by today, have some #FF fun, a fantastic Friday and a wonderful weekend!

    • It must have been really very early on your side of the Atlantic when you wrote that! I love all the bloggers I’ve gotten to know thanks to the #FF hop as well. And all the new books I keep adding to my shelves thanks to those bloggers 😉

      Thanks for stopping by, Jessica.

    • I’m so happy now, I find it even easer than Google reader! So it’s actually a good thing that’s not going to be continued, or I might have never even found Bloglovin’ 🙂 Thanks for following back, Danielle!

    • That’s too bad, Trish, because it’s such a great way to interact and get to know other bloggers.

      Thanks for stopping by 🙂

  1. LOL, a lot would be new to me as well – and and most of the questions are so awesome I wouldn’t even mind answering one of them a 2nd time!

Thanks for stopping by Jessica 🙂

  2. I live in the UK, so I know how you feel about having to get up early to post. Time differences are such a nightmare! But I suppose the great thing about this is that you do get to know people from all other the world, which is never a bad thing 🙂

    • Yeah, time differences are difficult – but I agree, getting to know bloggers from all over the world is definitely a bonus!

I’m not sure how you followed me, but I don’t have GFC…

      have a wonderful weekend, Allie.

  3. Hey Lexxie,
Thanks for visiting my blog and leaving your link! Getting the questions earlier would definitely be nice but then some people would be posting it on Thursdays instead of Friday. But I like the idea of re-using questions. There are always new bloggers that might’ve never seen the old questions before and I’m sure the people who’ve been doing it since the beginning won’t mind.
    Following via Bloglovin’!
Hope you have a wonderful weekend,

    • Yeah, the questions are so good I know I wouldn’t mind answering a question again – especially because things change as I read more books 🙂

Thanks so much for stopping by Laura 🙂 I hope your weekend will be awesome as well.

  4. It would be nice to have the question in advance (even more so for you bloggers who are in Europe). I’m a bit luckier in that I get it Thursday night at 9pm, but then I’m trying to rush to get the question answered before I go to bed, and of course I want to read so that makes for a late night. Even a day earlier would mean I could get it ready to post and really think out my answer 🙂 It was great to see you this week and have a wonderful weekend!

    • Some questions I can answer really quickly, like the most crush-worthy characters and things like that *grin* With other questions, I need to think about it a little bit, though, and I don’t really like to put up my link until my post is ready to be posted.

Thanks for stopping by Traci 🙂 always nice to see your comments here!

  5. Hiya, Lexxie! Yes, it would be great to have a second chance with some of the questions. And since I was late to the party, there are lots of questions I haven’t seen! I asked that we get the question early – because it takes me time to be witty! 😉 But seriously, sometimes on Thursday evenings, I just don’t have the brain power to come up with a response to some questions. 🙂 I’m grateful for #FF though because I’ve gotten to meet so many wonderful bloggers! 🙂

    • LOL, at least you get the question on Thursday evening – I get it when I get out of bed on Friday 😛 And I need time to be witty as well – it doesn’t always come naturally 😉

Wonderful bloggers is why I continue to do the #FF – there are so many blogs out there that are fantastic!

    • Thanks for stopping by Nicole, and for following back, too 🙂

I hope you’ll continue to enjoy the #FF.

    • Yeah, 150 different questions over a little more than two years – it’s quite amazing when we think about it like that.

Thanks for stopping by Chelsea 🙂

  6. I wonder if anyone actually remembers all the questions (apart from Rachel and Alison, that is)…

Thanks for stopping by Paige 🙂

    • I’ve been doing it longer, but I have still missed a lot of questions. And some of the questions I’ve already answered would probably get a different answer from me now.

Thanks for stopping by Jennifer 🙂

  7. You’re right. It’s hard to come up with a new question every week, but that’s the fun of it. I must admit that I wouldn’t like to repeat the same question. 🙂
I crave for the new question every Friday so I would be dissapointed to read the same one morning.
Thanks for stopping by my blog. Old follower. 🙂

    • I guess because I haven’t been around for all 150 weeks, I might not even realize the question wasn’t new 🙂

Thanks for stopping by Athina 🙂

  8. Thanks for visiting my blog, always great to talk to other bloggers.
I’m never quite sure what time the question will be up, I’m in the UK and I never seem to get it quite right, but I love taking part. 😀

  9. I’m in Switzerland, and I have the same problem, I always have to run and get my answer done Friday morning before my day starts for real 🙂
I love connecting with so many other bloggers, and I’ve found many I follow thanks to this meme.

    Thanks for stopping by!
