Google doesn’t love me anymore :( feedburner trouble!

Posted 25 September, 2012 by Linda @ (un)Conventional Bookworms in Uncategorized / 0 Comments

I just read a blog post on one of the blogs I am following about feedburner, and how it won’t be working anymore. I have used feedburner since I started blogging, but I have noticed lately that it tells me that I don’t have any followers anymore. That’s OK, people sometimes change their mind, and maybe they just aren’t that interested in my stuff, or they don’t have time to read and follow as many posts as they used to.

However, this post tells a different story. Google seems to really prefer bloggers who use blogspot or blogger, not wordpress. I just wish I had set up my blog right here from the very beginning! It’s not that I want to be able to say that I have x followers, but it is kind of sad to know that quite a lot of people were following me on google friend connect, and now, they can’t do that. And then, feedburner is hating on me (and other non-blogspot bloggers) as well?

I am trying out feedcat, and I hope that will work out for the best for all of us!

    • it’s really frustrating though! I wish they would give some advance notice. Hopefully, things will work now that I have installed feedcat instead.
