When Megan and Ash go to the Winter court for the Elysium, they don't stay long, and certainly have no time to party, as an old woman shows up to tell Megan of a prophecy... one that can mean the end to all faeries if Megan doesn't make sure it cannot happen at all.

Iron’s Prophecy probably would have gotten 5 stars from me if I had read this before I read The Lost Prince. I just needed some more Iron Fey, and I loved the interactions between Ash and Meghan, and Puck was his usual self – smirking and joking even in serious situations. And there were some glimpses of Mab, Oberon and Tatiania as well – which was nice – because Meghan could show her ‘regal-ness’ when dealing with them. She showed that she is not afraid of either of them, and that yes, she is indeed the Iron Queen.

I loved how Meghan and Ash interacted! They just seemed so much in love, and their friendship and respect for each other was very much there as well. I have to admit I have a little YA / book crush on Ash, but I’m quite sure I’m not alone in that *grins*.

If you are planning on reading The Lost Prince when it comes out, I’d recommend that you read this while you’re waiting. It’s well written, completely in the spirit of the Iron Fey series, and it does provide some interesting information that is, if not exactly necessary or needed, still important to the story of the Prince. There was one question in particular I had while I was reading the Lost Prince, and it was answered in Iron’s Prophecy.
