It’s Monday! What Are You Reading?

Welcome to It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? This is a meme hosted by Sheila @ Book Journey; and I think it is great to start the week with what I’m reading right this minute, and what I’ll be reading (or planning on reading, anyway) for the rest of the week.

Please visit Sheila’s blog to sign up on her linky, or you can do so below, and just know that every week, a lucky winner is drawn from the bloggers or posters (no need to even have a blog) who comment on at least ten posts in the It’s Monday meme. The winner gets a $5 Amazon gift card. How awesome is that?

Last week, I read the following books :

Severed Stone - (un)Conventional BookviewsSevered Stone by Kelly Walker, it’s the prequel to her Souls of the Stone series, and I think I may have enjoyed it more if I already knew some of the characters and wanted to get some more background on them… As it is, I could only give it 2 stars. My reivew is here.

When in Paris - (un)Conventional BookviewsWhen in Paris by Beverly Kendal is a contemporary NA romance, and while I enjoyed it, it’s not one of my favorite reads. My review will be up later this week.

Home to Whiskey Creek

Home to Whiskey creek by Brenka Novak is book number 4 in her Whiskey Creek series, and I really enjoyed it. My review should be posted either late this week or early next week. I gave it 4 stars!

Ten Tiny Breaths - (un)Conventional BookviewsTen Tiny Breaths by K.A. Tucker blew me away! I cried, I smiled, I cheered – beautiful NA contemporary, I gave it five stars. My review is up if you want to check it out.

One Tiny Lie - (un)Conventional BookviewsOne Tiny Lie is the 2nd book in the Ten Tiny Breaths series, and I just couldn’t stay away. I loved it at least as much as the 1st book, and it got 5 stars as well.

Some Quiet Place - (un)Conventional BookviewsSome Quiet Place by Kelsey Sutton was very intriguing. I quite liked it. My review will be up next week.

Right now, I’m reading Influential Magic - (un)Conventional BookviewsInfluential Magic by Deanna Chase. I’m a little more than half way through, and I love it! The fairies, witches and vampires are different from the ones I’m used to reading about, and there’s a great mystery as well.

Next week, I plan on reading the following books:

Predestined - (un)Conventional BookviewsPredestined (Fairy Faith #1) by Gary R. Garland I need some more fairies in my life right now 🙂

Robin's Blue - (un)Conventional BookviewsRobin’s Blue by Pam Alster, I think this is a sad and difficult book, but I loved the summary, so I’m reading this now.

Crossing the Line - (un)Conventional BookviewsCrossing the Line (Pushing the Limits #1.5) by Katie McGarry. I love this series, so even if this is a short-story, I think I’ll enjoy it very much 🙂

What the Duke Desires - (un)Conventional BookviewsWhat the Duke Desires by Sabrina Jeffries is a historical romance, and it’s been a little while since I read one.

  1. You caught my interest with Ten Tiny Breaths, I’m off to see if I can pick it up and I’ll be back to check out your review 🙂 You will love Sea of Tranquility, it’s similar to Katie McGarry’s Pushing the Limit series but I felt it surpassed it.

Have a great week and enjoy your new reads.

    • Ten Tiny Breaths and One Tiny Lie is also in the same vein as Katie McGarry’s series, so I hope you’ll like it!

Thanks for stopping by Teddyree 🙂

HI you all are like me!!! Love that I found you all! I am reading The Sisterhood. But I am going to see if I can find Ten Tiny Breaths, do you know if its on Kindle?

    • Hi Kimeebeemee 🙂 Yes, Ten Tiny Breaths is on kindle, I mostly read e-books these days, as it’s easier to keep my house tidy that way 🙂

      Thanks for stopping by.

    • That’s good to know, Stormi, I haven’t read any Sabrina Jeffries yet – but I do look forward to it 🙂

      Thanks for stopping by.

    • There are a lot of UF and PNR with suspense in them – I read so many different genres I can’t really say which I prefer anymore 🙂

      Thanks for stopping by Rita.

    • I know, right? It’s just one of those books where I think I’d have liked it more if I already had some background on the characthers.

Thanks for stopping by Sheila 🙂

    • When I have time off, like right now, I sometimes read one book per day 🙂

Have a great week Kaykay! Thanks for stopping by.

  4. I’m wondering if the Whiskey Creek series is anything like Robyn Carr’s Virgin River series. If so, I’d probably love it. Gosh, I had the Fairy Faith books in my TBR stack at one time, but I don’t know what became of them! Maybe someone borrowed and never returned. *sigh* Have a great week!

    • I haven’t read the Virgin River series, but if you think it’s kind of like Whiskey Creek, I know I’ll love that 🙂
Thanks for stopping by Diana Leigh 🙂
      Happy reading.

  5. I finally got to sign up for your Blog 🙂 You have me all excited about the “Pushing The Limits” series. But after a little break from reading for about 1 week I started with “Faking It” by Cora Carmack today and really enjoying it. It’s the second in the “Losing It” series… Great blog, Lexxie! Love ya!

    • Hey Jackie 🙂 I’ve heard that the “Losing It” series is great, too. I’m gonna read it very soon.
Both Pushing the Limits series and Ten Tiny Breaths series are awesome, too!
Thaks for stopping by 🙂 So nice to see you here! *hugs*

  6. Jackie

I just started wit “Origin” by Jennifer L. Armentrout. 4th and I also think final book in the Lux series. Couldn’t wait for that one to come out.
You also have my interest awakened in the Pushing Limits series. I’ve only heard the best things about that series… need to push them up my TBR list!

    • Pushing the Limits is awesome! I haven’t started the Lux series yet, but it’s on my TBR, and I look forward to it a lot. I’ve read so many great reviews for that whole series.

Thanks for stopping by, Jackie 🙂
