Marc and Chaili have known each other forever - but they don't really know each other. They haven't been in touch in a very long time, and when they meet again, the way they both feel like they have missed something important is very sweet.

*I got a free ARC of Beautiful Scars from the author in exchange of an honest review*

Marc has known Chaili since they were kids, and for the most time, he only saw her as his sister’s best friend. Chaili on the other hand has loved him since she was a teenager, and finally, they find each other again. Beautiful Scars start with Marc finally coming home for longer than usual, and he quickly meets Chaili – but not exactly under the circumstances he’d like.

Marc is a famous singer, and Chaili has been divorced for three years. They are both scarred, Chaili both physically and mentally, while Marc has scars mostly on his soul. This story is very well written, my heart beat for Chaili and Marc from the beginning, and all I wanted was for them to feel at peace, happy and loved. Tortured souls is the exact way to describe these characters, and at the same time, they were so honest and loving, even after all the heartache they had been through. Beautiful Scars really took on meaning as well, because it showed that to Marc, everything about Chaili was beautiful.

One of the secrets Marc has been keeping has to do with what he likes when he has sex, and even if I’m not usually into a lot of kinky stuff, I found this to be very, very hot! All of their sex-play was making me want to read faster, or better yet, put the book down to find some action myself *grin*

If you want a quick read that will make you hot in all the right places, this is for you!
