Playing it safe has never felt so dangerous…
Justice Wallington knows how to harness his strength and intimidating size—skills he put to good use first in the MMA cage, and now as a bodyguard at the Body Armor agency. But no opponent has ever left him feeling as off balance as his new client, heiress Fallon Wade. Far from a spoiled princess, she's sweet and intriguingly innocent. It's a risk-free assignment, until he's required to fake a relationship with her in order to blend in.
Sheltered from the world after a family tragedy, Fallon longs to experience life—going to bars, dancing, talking to strangers. Not easy with a huge, lethal-looking bodyguard shadowing her every move. Justice seems like her polar opposite, but pretending to be a couple stirs undeniable heat. And when danger strikes again, it's not just her safety in jeopardy, but a passion that's real, raw and absolutely against the rules…

Hard Justice had all the romance, suspense, friendship, hotness and action I have come to love in Foster’s novels!

Review - (un)Conventional Bookviews

Both Justice and Fallon were characters I enjoyed from when I first met them in Hard Justice. Fallon was a heroine who could have been impossible to enjoy or relate to, but even with her sheltered life and the tragedy in her past, she was a positive, strong character I loved more with each page. Justice wasn’t an unknown to me, as he first showed up in the Ultimate series, and I have to say that he really shone in his role as both bodyguard and romantic lead.

The suspense in Hard Justice kept me guessing, and I really enjoyed that and the red herrings that made it that way. The sightings of other Body Armor characters as well as those I have grown to know and love from Foster’s Ultimate series made things even better. Fallon fit right in with the guys, and I loved how Armie teased Justice about how closely he was watching her, even when he wasn’t supposed to be working.

Romance was a big part of Hard Justice as well, and it was a slow burn that was extremely hot. And once Fallon and Justice realized they wanted to be together, their relationship fell into a smooth rhythm very nicely. Even with the danger they both faced when it came to the mystery and suspense part of the novel. The hotness and the closeness between Fallon and Justice was oh, so very sweet. Plus, I truly loved how Justice interacted with his mom and his grandma. It wasn’t possible to not fall in love with him – and both Fallon and I were totally charmed.

Written in a close third person perspective, past in past tense and with enough dialogues to let the readers know the characters well, I can’t point out a singe thing I didn’t enjoy with Hard Justice. If you’re a fan of romantic suspense, hurry up and get your own copy, then enjoy.

Fave Quotes - (un)Conventional Bookviews

“Don’t sweat it.”
Fallon strangled on a breath. Dear God, he’d just told her mother not to “sweat it.” In her memory, no one had ever spoken to the refined Mrs. Rothschild Wade in such a way. It was, Fallon decided, somewhat hilarious.

“It’s a beautiful night, isn’t it?” Dark clouds rolled over one another and humidity hung thick in the air. He liked storms. They made him horny.

  1. Gah! I need to read Foster’s Ultimate series just so I can get to the Body Armor series! 😉 Justice and Fallon sound like a great pair and I love that the suspense and mystery kept you glued and guessing. Hard Justice seems like it has it all – suspense, romance, as well as a little humor if the quotes are anything to go by. 😉 I’m glad you enjoyed this so well, wifey!
    Happy Wednesday! I’m missing you, even if it is my own fault! James went back to work today so it’s just me and the two kids. Tomorrow and Friday they have rehearsal so even though it’s spring break for them, they’ll be gone. :/ Anyway, I hope your week is going well, my dear!! LOVE & {{{BIG HUGS}}}
