Lethal Lies is fast paced, filled with danger and delicious romance, even with a serial killer on the loose who will stop at nothing.

Review - (un)Conventional Bookviews

Lethal Lies is filled with action, romance, secrets, and lies. It’s a fast-paced adventure with ties to both the past and the future. I somehow read this before the first book in the series, but I still loved the story, the characters and the plot – that’s testament to how good it was. Zanetti’s world is a dangerous place, where the mysteries of the past try to catch up with the blood brothers in the present.

I love this whole universe, because Zanetti always manages to keep the world building on point, and the characters that evolve in it are original, but still very relatable. Lethal Lies show that these brothers by choice will stop at nothing to keep each other and the people they love safe. And they are ruthless when it comes to security, even to the detriment of their own safety.

Lethal Lies also set up the next book in the series perfectly, I can’t wait to see what will happen with Denver, the third brother, and the lady he has fallen for. There are still many loose ends, and I can’t even begin to imagine how it will all play out. Written in third person perspective and in past tense, the fast pace had me struggling to keep my breath even while reading.

Fave Quotes - (un)Conventional Bookviews

Even if he came from a jerk of a father, his mom had been a good person. Maybe he was half good. That’d be okay. If he’d had a chance, he might’ve been all good and made her proud. Gotten her help somehow.

She frowned and grasped his hand, turning it over. A long scar ran along his lifeline. “What happened?”
He glanced down. “I formed a family. At her titled head, he smiled. “Blood brothers for life.” Past hurts and strong ties lived in his words.
“Oh.” Her entire body ached. This was out of her experience. God, she needed her sister.
