Review: Thirty Nights with a Dirty Boy: Part 1 – Shiloh Walker

Thirty Nights with a Dirty Boy was delicious and intriguing, as Walker always manages to include very complex characters, even in her shorter stories. I don’t know how she does it, but Walker manages to draw me in from the start, and Thirty Nights with a Dirty Boy is intriguing, to say the least. Both Ella and Sean are fleshed out and realistic, even if there is an air of mystery surrounding both of them. Ella is accomplished, at least on the outside, she has an organization to help women in trouble, and she’ll soon open up a safe haven for them to help them, the same way she was helped by her mentor in the past. However, beneath the […]

Review: You Own Me – Shiloh Walker

Review: You Own Me – Shiloh Walker

*I received a free ARC of You Own Me from Shiloh Walker via Netgalley in exchange of an honest review* You Own Me has all the anguish and love from a distance I love in a contemporary romance novel, where the protagonists haven’t ever admitted to each other how they feel about each other. My You Own Me review: Lizzie and Decker are best friends, they have been for a long time, even during the time Decker spent in jail. You Own Me shows how deep Lizzie and Decker’s feelings towards each other are, no matter that Lizzie has a boyfriend she’s been with for the past three years. Review: Beautiful Scars – Shiloh Walker

*I got a free ARC of Beautiful Scars from the author in exchange of an honest review* Marc has known Chaili since they were kids, and for the most time, he only saw her as his sister’s best friend. Chaili on the other hand has loved him since she was a teenager, and finally, they find each other again. Beautiful Scars start with Marc finally coming home for longer than usual, and he quickly meets Chaili – but not exactly under the circumstances he’d like. Marc is a famous singer, and Chaili has been divorced for three years. They are both scarred, Chaili both physically and mentally, while Marc has scars mostly on his soul. This story is very well […]

Review: Stolen – Shiloh Walker

Review: Stolen – Shiloh Walker

*I received a free ARC of Stolen Random House via Edelweiss in exchange for an honest review* Stolen really, really freaked me out! It had me from the first sentence, and I gripped my kindle for most of the time I was reading. What I liked the most is that in all the creepiness, there was still both romance and humor present most of the time. Yes, it’s actually possible, and it was masterfully done in this novel. Very exciting, quite thrilling and more than a little creepy. Subscribe to Blog via Email Enter your email address to subscribe to this blog and receive notifications of new posts by email.
