Audio Review ~ The Duchess Deal ~ Tessa Dare

I was giggle-snorting in the first few minutes of The Duchess Deal. Between Emma’s antics and Ashbury’s reactions to them, I knew I was in for an entertaining romp. Mary Jane Wells once again impressed me with her narrating skill. All in all, this was an aural delight! Emma Gladstone, a seamstress, has darkened the doorstep of the Duke of Ashbury in order to demand payment for the wedding gown of his former fiancee. Emma is rather in dire straits, as her rent is due and her cupboards are bare. Review: Once Upon a Winter’s Eve – Tessa Dare

Review: Once Upon a Winter’s Eve – Tessa Dare

Review: A Night to Surrender (Spindle Cove #1) – Tessa Dare

A Night to Surrender is a truly delightful story! I fell in love with Susanna from the very beginning, it was so refreshing to read about a regency era heroine who is intelligent, strong-minded and who won’t back down from a challenge. Disappointed with her own debut, she has decided to help young women in a safe environment, and Spindle Cove is the perfect place for it. Susanna grew up there, and now she brings shy, unconventional-looking or too brazen women to the same place, to help them all advance in some field. Susanna herself is quite unconventional, and she does not believe women should always be demure, obey men and not enlighten themselves in science or other matters usually […]

Review: The Scandalous, Dissolute, No Good Mr. Wright – Tessa Dare

*I received a free ARC of The Scandalous, Dissolute, No Good Mr. Wright from Avon Books via Edelweiss in exchange of an honest review* The Scandalous, Dissolute, No Good Mr. Wright is a fun and romantic book, about the man Eliza really should stay far, far away from. When she meets him for the first time, she finds him quite different from the rake she’d imagined, though… Subscribe to Blog via Email Enter your email address to subscribe to this blog and receive notifications of new posts by email.
