Why Do Dukes Fall in Love was an absolute delight. It was impossible to not fall head-first in love with Mrs. Chelsam and His Grace! They were awesome, I loved their tongue-in-cheek humor, their loyalty, their intelligence and their steamy romance! Story: A duke who hires a female secretary is unconventional to say the least, and I love unconventional historical romances. Review: Damage Control – Lisa Renee Jones

There is even more action and danger in Damage Control than in the first book. Emily and Shane have a lot difficulties to deal with; most of it outside of their control. Story: Danger galore in Damage Control. And the familial relationships are more than tense. Emily is still keeping back part of herself, as she is too afraid her past will catch up with her and damage Shane. The plot moves forward nicely, and the pace is fairly even. There are a lot of sex scenes, and sometimes, I skimmed part of them, as I didn’t feel they always added something to the actual story. All Things New deals with a character who has suffered from panic attacks ever since her parents’ divorce. Story: All Things New is an important book, as it deals with panic and mental disorders in teenagers. There were some aspects of the book that I found extremely good, and others I could have done without. The ‘angel’ aspect did not work for me. Nor did the fact that the psychiatrists in this book were all smirking, pill-pushing individuals. I also think I would have liked it more if the group therapy was actually group therapy, not a group of teens just sharing among themselves, without adult supervision. Under Fire pushed all the right buttons, romance, characters and character development, pace, action, suspense, plot and story. I loved every single thing about this story! Cole has definitely outdone herself with Under Fire! I was mesmerized from start to finish, and the action started basically on the first page. The Red is mysterious, scandalous, strange, and weirdly arousing. If I had to put The Red into a genre box, I’d be in big trouble, as it’s a great mix with the strongest part being erotica.
