Review: Dane – Liliana Hart

Review: Dane – Liliana Hart

Dane is extremely hot, but also extremely short, so the story felt a little hurried.  My Dane review: Dane has so much hotness it’s impossible not to feel the heat while reading, and the erotic scenes were very well executed. However, the fact that the story was so short made it less good than it could have been – especially because it involves one of my all-time favorite romance tropes: second chances! Sadly, it also includes one of my top pet peeves, the one where a couple has sex without using a condom. Even if they had been involved before, that was ten years ago, and they had no way to know if the other person had a sexually transmitted […]

Review: Ruin – C.J. Scott

Review: Ruin – C.J. Scott

Ruin is a quick read, and the characters are quite well done for such a short story. My Ruin review: Kate and Ben met by chance in Winter’s only diner, and all Kate could think about from the start of Ruin was how hot she thought Ben was. Kate’s best friend, Jane, is one of the only people her age who stayed in Winter when everyone else left for college, and she is nervous about strangers in general, and Ben in particular. When it’s obvious that Ben won’t be able to leave their little town that day, Kate decides he should stay with Jane and her grand-mother, work on their crumbled mansion for room and board at least for a […]

Review: A Sexy Journey – Jasinda Wilder

Review: A Sexy Journey – Jasinda Wilder

Holy hotness! A Sexy Journey is exactly that – very sexy, enticing and hot. My A Sexy Journey review: Delilah has the shock of her life when she comes back home shortly after leaving for work, only to find her husband in bed with the pastor’s wife… A Sexy Journey certainly did start with a bang, as she took of her shoes and threw them at the love-birds before packing all her things and leaving to find her sister to tell her what had happened. Only to receive yet another shock when she realized her sister had an affair with Harry as well. In all her turmoil, she still managed to get her account closed out, and with twenty grand […]

Review: The Cowboy Kiss – Kristen James

Review: The Cowboy Kiss – Kristen James

My The Cowboy Kiss review: The Cowboy Kiss is a sweet and very short contemporary romance in which two childhood friends meet up again after six years apart. Cory knows he only has a few days to sweep Autumn off her feet, and apparently, he manages to do so – even if that happened off page. Even in a short story, I think it’s possible to show a little bit more of what the characters are thinking and feeling, and I was not really satisfied when The Cowboy Kiss Ended. The writing is quite good, though, and if you’re in the mood for something very short, The Cowboy Kiss might be just what you need. It was a little bit […]

Review: A SEAL’s Secret – Tawny Weber

Review: A SEAL’s Secret – Tawny Weber

Hotness galore, romance, strong characters and important choices – A SEAL’s Secret has it all! My A SEAL’s Secret review: The story of A SEAL’s Secret starts with… a push-up competition between Mitch and Livi, and from there, things heat up very quickly! Livi is usually very shy, but she has decided that for Halloween, she’s letting herself have some fun. When she spots Super-Hottie across the room, she knows she’d like to have some fun with him. Mitch, on the other hand, usually is rather a flirt, never wanting anything serious in his life, apart from his work as a SEAL. When he sees Livi, though, he wonders if there just might be more to life than work. […]

Giveaway and Blogtour Review: Canning the Center – Tara Lain

Giveaway and Blogtour Review: Canning the Center – Tara Lain

Welcome to my stop on the Canning the Center blogtour! If you have been here before, you know that I love Tara Lain’s stories! There are some really sexy male characters in them, and they all have to deal with discrimination because of their LGBTQ status in society. Some hide, others are well out in the open… Today, I’m sharing my Canning the Center review, some of my favorite quotes and there’s a giveaway, too! My Canning the Center review: Canning the Center might just be the best LGBT story I have read so far, it has everything – a hot football player who’s still in the closet, but really wants to come out, a beautiful and smart man who […]

Review: Home – J.A. Huss

Review: Home – J.A. Huss

Everything comes together perfectly in Home – in the very end! Both Vaughn and Grace still have some heartache to go through first, but they both step up to show how strong they are both as individual and as a couple! My Home review: Home makes the Social Media serial stay a roller coaster until the very end! Between doubts, very strong love, amazing characters and a story that made me feel out of breath, it truly brought the serial to a perfect ending. I was amazed by both Vaughn and Grace, even if I thought Grace did jump to conclusions at one point… The way Home folded out was so well done, and the dual point of views made […]

Review: Profile – J.A. Huss

Review: Profile – J.A. Huss

Profile took me on a wild and very scary ride, as Grace had to figure out how to flee once more. With my heart in my throat, I kept wanting to close my eyes for fear something terrible would happen to one of my favourite heroines. My Profile review: Please beware that Profile is the fifth book in the Social Media series, and even if I try very hard to not post anything spoilerish, there are some spoilers from prior books in my review this time. If you aren’t up to date, read at your own discretion. In Profile, Grace and Vaughn are separated – not by choice – for most of the story, and it made all past decisions, […]

Review: A Christmas to Remember – Jill Shalvis et al.

Review: A Christmas to Remember – Jill Shalvis et al.

A Christmas to Remember has five sweet stories about finding love during the Christmas holiday, some really touched my heart. My A Christmas to Remember review: In Jill Shalvis’ Dream a Little Dream, I was swept off my feet! Melissa and Ian already knew each other at the beginning of the story, they had even been friends with benefits for a while, until Ian wanted more. Their history, made their interactions believable, the connection was already there. One of the things I enjoyed the most was the Ian had to save Melissa, and later on, she saved him right back! And their tenderness and chemistry made my heart beat with a steady beat throughout the story that made a very […]

Review: The Navy SEAL’s Christmas Bride – Cora Seton

Review: The Navy SEAL’s Christmas Bride – Cora Seton

There is a little bit of everything in The Navy SEAL’s Christmas Bride; humour, romance, hotness, silliness and some very competitive characters to drive the story forward. My The Navy SEAL’s Christmas Bride review: First of all, I have to say that my visit to Crescent Hall was a very pleasant one! From the very beginning, it was easy to see that Dan and Sarah were going to compete about everything, and it was really funny to read about how far they went to make sure they could show of who was stronger than the other. I found it especially funny that Sarah had been competing like this her whole life, and if she had been a man, she’d probably […]
