Legion brought my favorite dragons and their struggles to a complete new level of epicness! The action and the final fight at the end gave me heart palpitations! Because of the way Soldier ended, I knew there would be some heartache in Legion, but I had no idea just how much! Review: Rogue – Julie Kagawa

Rogue was filled with action, fights and deep betrayal. Following four characters, it was fast paced and a quite quick read. My Rogue review: The tension in Rogue was very different form that in Talon, because Ember knew she was being chased, both by the Order of St. George and Talon. At the same time, Ember stayed true to her character, wanting to do what was best for everybody, not just herself – to the point where she disregarded personal danger to save someone else. Review: Talon – Julie Kagawa

Talon is different, because dragons. At the same time, there are some very familiar themes where sometimes a war is fought because of what they are used to, and because of the fear of those who are different. My Talon review: First off, I just need to let you all know I’m a huge Kagawa fan! Her stories are always somewhat different, and the universe in which her characters evolve original even while in a genre I am already familiar with.
