The Sunday Post #27 – Weekly Wrap-up
Welcome to my Sunday Post. Thank you to Kimba over at The Caffeinated Reviewer, who is hosting this weekly event. It is the perfect opportunity to share what happened here on my own blog, as well as some of the happenings elsewhere in the Blogosphere.
I promised last week to share some vacation photos, so here are a few:
As you can see, we had a really good time, the food was amazing everywhere we went, and we had mild weather, with a little wind. I think what I enjoyed most of all – apart from the seaside – was the fact that all four kids were with us for a whole week, that doesn’t happen all that often anymore! And if someone has the time to teach me how to make those photos align correctly, I’d be very, very happy! I spent so much time on this, and in my edit post window, it looked great, but in view post it looked weird… Oh well, at least there are pictures, right?

Glad you had an awesome vacation and a safe return. I’m in some serious envy at those pictures. I absolutely love being near water like that. So beautiful.
Being close to the sea is one of my favorite places to be, Marsha. It relaxes me, I sleep even better, and I love the sound of waves.
Welcome back! Glad you had a good time — that sunset pic is gorgeous!
Thank you, Liza 🙂
Your vacation looked wonderful! Pictures are beautiful – both the food and views!
Thank you Grace 🙂 We had a great time – now it’s back to the real world 😉

First time on your blog 🙂 You look like you had a good time on holiday 🙂
Happy Reading
Yeah, it was really good 🙂 thanks for stopping by, Megan!
I imagine Ashley would tell you how to get the pics to line up or you could download a gallery plug in. They are all lined up for me though. In html you could use a table format with margins and padding the same in each row and column; check www3 for the syntax.
Yeah, I think there’s even a gallery thingy included either with my theme or with the UBB, I just need to try it out, I guess. And you’re right, now they are all lined up for me as well, that’s pretty weird.
Have a great week ahead, Steph!

Shoot! I’d eat those for brekkie!
Wonderful lanscape photos. The place is beautiful!
I’d eat those for all my meals when I’m in Spain, Braine 🙂
Gorgeous vacation photos…I can almost feel the sea breezes…and taste that food…LOL.
Enjoy your new week, and here are MY WEEKLY UPDATES
I’m not sure what I miss the most, Laurel-Rain, the sea breeze or the food 😉
I’m so jealous of your vacation. I need one badly. 🙂
Then I hope you’ll get a chance to get a vacation soon, AJ!
Sea and great food and family. The best combination! I had family in the past couple of weeks and had a grand time. It is hard to get everyone together. Looks like you had a fabulous time!
Yeah, the best combination ever, Laura. Having family all together is always like a treat 🙂 Happy reading.
Your pictures amazing! I’m not sure which looks better – the food or the view! Glad you enjoyed your vacation. I doubt this week can top it but hope it’s as fantastic as the week after vacation can be!
LOL, both were pretty amazing, really. I’m sure next week will be good, too 🙂 Thanks for stopping by Katherine.

I took no pictures of the amazing food we ate *duh* It looks like you had a blast and that water looks lovely. I am glad you had a wonderful time. Welcome home!
I love taking pictures of food in restaurants – just seeing those now make me look forward to the next trip down to Spain this summer 🙂
Welcome home – that’s great you were able to have all the kids with you and had a lovely time. The pictures look great; I would love to get away somewhere nice right about now. 🙂
Yeah, my two oldest don’t come with us all the time anymore – which is totally understandable. I hope you’ll be able to go somewhere you’d like very soon!
Lovely photos, I can see you´ve had a good time 🙂

I don’t think they lined up bad but I can see it taking a long time. If I remember tonight I will send you the CSS I use and the HTML for popping in pictures like I do with my books on my site. If I don’t send it remind me 🙂
Love those pictures it looks like such a great place to relax!
Have a great week Lexxie 🙂
Oh that would be amazing, Michelle! Thank yo so much 🙂 And yes, our little slice of paradise in Spain is a great place to relax indeed 🙂
have a great week yourself!
Oh all that food looks delicious! And it looks like a great place, great pictures! The look pretty nice to me, how did you plan to align them? I usually use code to align them, like class=”aligncenter” or you can use alignnone and then they go next to each other like you did now I think. It’s nice that all your kids were able to come with you on that vacation. Have a great week!
When the post was finally live, the photos aligned the way I wanted them to… but when I checked the post before it was published, they were all over the place 🙁
The food was so good! I can’t wait to go back this summer – but I need to make sure I’ll get some workouts included in my vacation too, if not I’ll come back home and not fit into any of my clothes 🙂
Your vacation looks amazing. I finally broke down and booked mine this week. Now I have to start looking for things to do in the area. Have a good week!

Second Run Reviews
I hope you’ll have a great vacation, Terri! And I’m sure you’ll be able to find plenty of things to do – there is always reading, if the place ends up not being what you expected 😉
The water looks fantastic! Oh, I am so envious! We’re going to go to the Texas coastline in June, but it doesn’t look nearly that pretty!
I’m sure you’ll have fun in Texas, Lyn! Even if the coastline doesn’t look the same, water, beach and coast is just something else!
Thanks for sharing the pictures with us! The scenic views are breathtaking, what ocean is this? Also, those dishes look amazing! 😛
It’s the Mediterranean Sea, Claudia 🙂 The food they serve at the restaurants in that village is just out of this world. I want to go back right now!
Wow! It’s gorgeous, this is the closest I’ve ever been to the Mediterranean ha ha! 😀
Maybe one day, you’ll be able to get even closer, Claudia 😉
The food pictures are mouthwatering, but oh, that blue blue sea !!! Those pictures look aligned to me, at least now ? I had given up aligning pictures when I was on Blogger. Anyway I’m happy you had such a wonderful time with your family in such a heavenly place. It’s good to see you back, though 😉
Yeah, they ended up being aligned the way I wanted them to… once the post was live o.O
I’m glad to be back, too, even if I sometimes wish I was already retired – living half of the year in Spain 😉
Oh, that pictures are lovely, Lexxie. Thanks so much for sharing little of you vacation. 🙂 I don’t look forward to the day when not all my kids vacation with us but I’m sure it’s coming sooner than later. We had a grand time shopping for dresses on Saturday. Berk needed one for Continuation so we shopped for that dress along with the prom dress. I’ll send the photo of Sky in her dress. 🙂
Happy Monday! I hope your week is off to a great start! **BIG HUGS**
Yeah, those darned kids growing up so fast! It’s so strange that it’s a treat now if we’re actually all together for holidays, and at the same time, I guess it’s just normal.
I can’t wait to see the pictures of the dresses 😀
Only 29 more days! *BIG HUGS*
