The Sunday Post #57 – Weekly Wrap-up
Welcome to my Sunday Post. Thank you to Kimba over at The Caffeinated Reviewer, who is hosting this weekly event. It is the perfect opportunity to share what happened here on my own blog, as well as some of the happenings elsewhere in the Blogosphere.
Last night, my oldest daughter and I went to a concert in the small local venue again, and we got to spend a fantastic evening listening to, singing along with, and dancing to Charlie Winston! It’s always lovely to spend an evening with my oldest, I’m so thankful to have a close and very friendly relationship with her. The concert was so good – Winston was in great form, and so was the audience! He even went off the stage and walked among the audience during one song – all on his own! And at one point, he talked about how the refugee crisis has touched him, and that we had to be able to see the mass of refugees as individuals so we wouldn’t be afraid of them. Just as he had to see us in the audience as individuals and not a mass of people. We also managed to be very close to the stage, which made our experience even better!
