Weekend Wrap-up is where I share my new books, as well as what happened here at (un)Conventional Bookviews and elsewhere in the blogoshpere. I’m linking up with the usual suspects, AKA Team Tynga’s Reviews and Caffeinated Reviewer.

STS #201

Stacking The Shelves, hosted by Tynga’s Reviews and Reading Reality is all about the latest additions to my library – virtual or actual, with books that are  bought, borrowed, won or ARCs  I will (probably) be reading soon. Without further ado, here’s what I added to my bloated shelves this past week:

I think the book I’m the most excited about is Wings, because it’s set in the Orginal Sinners universe. I’ve already started reading So Over You, and am really enjoying it so far.

The Sunday Post #151 – Weekend Wrap-up

Kim @ The Caffeinated Reviewer, is our hostess with the mostest for the weekly Sunday Post where I’m wrapping things up. It is the perfect opportunity to share what happened here on my own blog, as well as some of the happenings elsewhere in the Blogosphere.

Friday was spent in lots of meetings, so that all of us teachers are ready for school starting again on Monday. It was nice to see my colleagues again, and to know that I will actually start the school year for the first time ever. It will definitely be a busy year, but I am very optimistic about everything, and look forward to meeting at least some of my students on Monday.

This Week’s Freddy in Action:

And we are getting a new puppy who is now only two weeks old. I am going to go to pick him up in October, and we’re all really excited about it!

Have a great week and happy reading.

  9. It’s so good you were part of the planning this year! It throws you for a loop walking in mid-year. Hercules is so cute! Adding a new puppy to the family is so fun…except for the chewing!

  10. Hercules is so cute! What breed is he? We’ve been talking about getting a puppy too but we are not sure when. Roomies is on my TBR and I need to start the Veronica Speedwell series soon. Good luck on your first day of school and I hope you have a great week!
