Weekend Wrap-up is where I share my new books, as well as what happened here at (un)Conventional Bookviews and elsewhere in the blogoshpere. I’m linking up with the usual suspects, AKA Team Tynga’s Reviews and Caffeinated Reviewer.
STS #204
Stacking The Shelves, hosted by Tynga’s Reviews and Reading Reality is all about the latest additions to my library – virtual or actual, with books that are bought, borrowed, won or ARCs I will (probably) be reading soon. Without further ado, here’s what I added to my bloated shelves this past week:
Thank you Edelweiss and Gallery Books!
Thank you J.A. Huss!
The Sunday Post # – Weekend Wrap-up 154
Kim @ The Caffeinated Reviewer, is our hostess with the mostest for the weekly Sunday Post where I’m wrapping things up. It is the perfect opportunity to share what happened here on my own blog, as well as some of the happenings elsewhere in the Blogosphere.
This week felt very long… even if it was the same length as all other weeks *grins*. My husband finally came back home from Canada on Friday, and everybody is happy to have him back home. I have tests to finalise as three of my classes are scheduled to have their first tests on Monday.
I’ve been so busy I haven’t taken any new photos of Freddy… Sorry!

Did you get some good books last week? What have you been up to this past week? Thanks for stopping by, I hope you’re enjoying your weekend, and that next week will be filled with awesome!
Busy, busy! Time for a reading break from that nice book haul. 🙂
I haven’t read anything this weekend, but I did binge-watch most of the 13th season of Grey’s Anatomy 😀
Aw Freddy, whatcha up to? 🙂 Seriously though, have a great weekend Lexxie and hope the weather is nice your way! It was kind of a long week here too…
Freddy is his usual cuddly self, I just haven’t taken out my phone to document anything…

I know… everybody is disappointed there’s no Freddy 🙁 I’ll do better next week!
Seems like it’s been a busy week for everyone lately! My week was actually pretty moderate though it was last week that was total and utter chaos. So it was nice returning to some normalcy!
Nice new reads! Mostly new to me ones but I hope you enjoy each and every one of them!
My STS will be up tomorrow, so stop by then if you can!
Have a GREAT day!
Old Follower 🙂
I bet it was nice to return to normalcy! I spent most of the day today preparing tests… which means I’ll spend time next week correcting them 😀
It sounds like you’ve been busy. I hope you get a chance to read all your new books!

i did manage to borrow a few books from the library ! now i hope to read them. I miss Freddy too, and your new puppy?
Glad your husband made it home okay. This past week felt long to me as well. But, I know it was because we had a crazy week at school (homecoming). Hopefully you have less to do this week and more time to read and take pics!
How much longer till the new puppy comes home?
This week was really busy for me as well. Some weeks just seem longer than others don’t they? I am glad your husband made it home from his trip. Enjoy all of your new books and have a great week!
I’m planning to read Five. Looks SO good. Thanks for recommending the author to me. ?❤️❤️❤️❤️
Oh wow, reading 5 books a week is awesome! I would never manage to do that. I’m a slow reader. Anyway, same here, this week felt so long. It was one of the longest weeks for me. Glad to hear your husband made it home okay. Enjoy this weekend and have a wonderful week. ?
I miss Freddy! ?
Aw no Freddy *sobs* Hehe I hope you’ll enjoy all your new books. 🙂
You have a lot of tempting books. Enjoy!
I’m glad that you are enjoying your busy schedule…and that your hubbie is home again.
Have a great week! Here are MY WEEKLY UPDATES
My students have just finished the first unit (Grammar). I think it went pretty well. I understand the busy, busy life – I have been so inundated with school tasks that I haven’t read in three weeks. 🙁 Glad your husband is back home! It’s hard to be apart.
I am glad your husband made it home! It sounds like a busy week, even if a long one. The Karen Chance book sounds good. As well as your two ARC’s. I hope you enjoy all your new books, Lexxie! I wish you luck this next week with the testing!
Glad that your husband has come back home! I hope you enjoy all your reads!
I grabbed Love & Other Words too, even though I don’t know what it’s about. Glad your hubby made it home safe. But boo for no Freddy pics. 😉 Have a great week, Lexxie!
I loved Roomies by Christina Lauren, so I didn’t really care what Love & Other Words is all about…

Enjoy your new books!! I hope you have a great week.
I still haven’t read a book by Christina Lauren but I’ve been so tempted, between Roomies and Love & Other Words. Should I??? I leave that up to you, I’m giving you the power *evil cackle*.
I bet y’all are happy to have hubs home! I didn’t even like my brother stuck in Grenada (he was only stuck b/c he couldn’t fly through Miami) and I was so relieved once he got home. You just want your loved ones close, right?!?! At least with the US and Canada, you have us 🙂
Can’t wait to hear all about your weekend!!! Have a great week!!
I honestly can’t wait for Cowboy up here!! Should be a good one!! I have really enjoyed books one and two.
It’s always wonderful when your honey comes home after being away! I hope you enjoy your new books, and good luck to your students on their tests. 🙂

My Bf will join my blog next week too! Co-bloggin’ like a boss 🙂 excited!
It’s always full-on at the start of the year while you sort out the ability of your students. I start back teaching my Creative Writing students this coming week and very much looking forward to it:). Hope things ease up soon – it will probably feel better now that your husband is back home. Have a great week, Lexxie. My Sunday Post – https://sjhigbee.wordpress.com/2017/09/17/sunday-post-17th-september-2017/
