Weekend Wrap-up is where I share my new books, as well as what happened here at (un)Conventional Bookviews and elsewhere in the blogoshpere. I’m linking up with the usual suspects, AKA Team Tynga’s Reviews and Caffeinated Reviewer.

STS #209

Stacking The Shelves, hosted by Tynga’s Reviews and Reading Reality is all about the latest additions to my library – virtual or actual, with books that are  bought, borrowed, won or ARCs  I will (probably) be reading soon. Without further ado, here’s what I added to my bloated shelves this past week:

ARCs Recieved - (un)Conventional Bookviews - Bought Borrowed and Bagged Stacking the Shelves

Thank you St. Martin’s Press, The Knight Agency, and NetGalley!

Purchased - (un)Conventional Bookviews bought borrowed and bagged stacking the shelves

Bountiful cover - (un)Conventional Bookviews - Weekend Wrap-up

I had this on pre-order, as I have devoured most of Bowen’s books since I started my first one this last summer. I can’t wait to dig in!

The Sunday Post #159 – Weekend Wrap-up

Kim @ The Caffeinated Reviewer, is our hostess with the mostest for the weekly Sunday Post where I’m wrapping things up. It is the perfect opportunity to share what happened here on my own blog, as well as some of the happenings elsewhere in the Blogosphere.

This week, I’ve been bone tired. I haven’t had more work, but Hercules has woken me up at 3am each night to go potty… So interrupted sleep has made my days feel really long! Hopefully, he’ll start sleeping through the night soon. I’m also going to take the water away a couple of hours before bed time.

We have next week off, and both the kids and I are very happy to have some relaxing to look forward to. We’re going to Spain, and as always, I can hardly wait. I wonder if Hercules will love swimming as much as Freddy does.

This Week’s Puppies in Action:

When they’re not playing and rough-housing, they have started to nap close together. Isn’t it too cute?

  1. Oh, nice goodies in the haul. I’ve seen a great review on the new Sarina Bowen.

Poor, Lexxie. Hopefully the new boy will get a new schedule so you can sleep through the night. Have fun in Spain. 🙂

  2. Well, at least Hercules wakes you up to go potty! That’s something! Lol. It amazes me how long one of our dogs can hold it in. He’s older, but still, the dog will hold it forever and then when he does go, it’s nearly for 30 seconds or more! Which is pretty long considering our other older dog just goes outside, kind of stretches his legs and looks around and then does his business, the other one would hold it forever I think! Lol!

Nice new reads! Totally new to me ones but I hope you enjoy them all!

My STS will be up tomorrow, so stop by then if you can!

    Have a GREAT day!

    Old Follower 🙂

  3. Wish you luck on the late night bathroom breaks. Mine stopped at about 6 months old, but if they have to go in the middle of the night, they will still wake me up (and not Dad). Although I suspect they really just want to go out back and secure that no one has entered their yard. Hope you have a wonderful week.

  4. I’m currently reading Bountiful, Lexxie. You’re gonna LOVE it! Trust me. It’s awesome. ??
I hope you have a wonderful week filled with awesome books, my friend. Happy reading. ❤️?
OMG, they both are SO cute. It took time for Hercules to get used to the new home. But don’t worry he’ll enjoy it soon. He and Freddy seem to have bonded really well. ?

  5. Awe they are too cute together. I hope your baby (Hercules) starts sleeping through the night soon. At least he is waking you and not making a mess in the house.
Have a great time in Spain! Safe travels.

  6. So nice about the week off! I would love to have one about now. I’m sure your little furry baby will learn to not need to go at 3AM eventually 😀 and it’s super cute about your doggies sleeping like that.
Have a great week in Spain 🙂

  7. Kiss Kiss Bang made me think of the movie Kiss Kiss Bang Bang. Hercules is at least waking you up instead of piddling on the floor. LOL They look so cute. Before you know it they’ll be cuddle buddies and I bet Hercules won’t be able to resist seeing Freddy have all the fun in the water. Have a lovely week in Spain, lucky you:)

  8. Those dogs of yours are really super cute! I love seeing pictures of them! I hope you will be able to sleep the whole night soon though.
I hope you’ll have a great week in Spain! And thank you so much for mentioning my post!
Have a great week and happy reading.

  9. My dogs wake me up at 4 am daily. My alarm goes off at 5:15. I wish they would just hold it for an extra hour, but I am not that lucky 🙁
Enjoy your time off in Spain! I am jealous. We don’t get a break until American Thanksgiving at the end of November.

  10. Our cat has been waking us up at 3 AM to go out recently so I am with you on the tired. I wish I could ignore him but his cry is as piercing as a babies. I hope you get into a good doggy routine. Enjoy Spain x

  11. I’m sorry that he’s getting you up every night. Like having a baby in the house. At least he is waking you up instead of having accidents.I’m sure taking water away will help. Have a great week off.

  12. Interrupted sleep like that is awful. It definitely can ruin the next day. The Man has been complaining almost every day this week about Baby and Cera coming to play fight in the bed while he’s sleeping and waking him up. Apparently, yesterday Baby dove under the covers and Cera was playing Whack-a-Mole with her. I hope you catch up on your sleep, Freddy’s routines get straightened, and you have a fabulous time in Spain next week!
