Weekend Wrap-up is where I share my new books, as well as what happened here at (un)Conventional Bookviews and elsewhere in the blogoshpere. I’m linking up with the usual suspects, AKA Team Tynga’s Reviews and Caffeinated Reviewer.
STS #213
Stacking The Shelves, hosted by Tynga’s Reviews and Reading Reality is all about the latest additions to my library – virtual or actual, with books that are bought, borrowed, won or ARCs I will (probably) be reading soon. Without further ado, here’s what I added to my bloated shelves this past week:
Thank you Gallery Books, Oceanview Publishing, and Edelweiss, Carina Press, Less Than Three Press, and NetGalley 🙂
Thank you, Tantor Audio! Have you seen how well that cover goes with my color scheme? It looks amazing!
This book was gifted to me by Geybie @ Geybie’s Bookblog – Thank you so much, girlfriend!!
The Sunday Post #163 – Weekend Wrap-up
Kim @ The Caffeinated Reviewer, is our hostess with the mostest for the weekly Sunday Post where I’m wrapping things up. It is the perfect opportunity to share what happened here on my own blog, as well as some of the happenings elsewhere in the Blogosphere.
While this week was almost as busy as last week, it was still somehow better. I got things done, more conferences, and long days, but it all went really well. I’m happy it’s the weekend, though, because I really need a break. Hopefully, the weather will continue being nice and sunny, with crisp fall air and leaves everywhere.

Did you get some good books last week? What have you been up to this past week? Thanks for stopping by, I hope you’re enjoying your weekend, and that next week will be filled with awesome!
Glad you had a better week. You got some lovelies in the mail this week. Oh cool, you got the new Kristen Ashley.
Cute pictures of the playful pups.
Yeah, a week that was a little slower did me so much good, Sophia 🙂 I got a lot of books this week, and some of them I’ve already read. I was excited about KA’s new book – it was awesome 😉
Aww!!! Love seeing the happy pups together! So cute!!
Nice new reads too! Totally new to me ones but I hope you will enjoy them all!
My STS will be up tomorrow, so stop by then if you can!
Have a GREAT day!
Old Follower 🙂
They really are happy together, and that sure makes me very happy too 🙂
I’ll stop by tomorrow, Jessica 🙂 Have a great weekend.
Enjoy those books! Love the puppies…and what a pretty rug they get to play on.
Have a great week, and here are MY WEEKLY UPDATES
Thanks, Laurel-Rain! I have managed to read some of them already, and they made me very happy. The rug is a vacation find… we brought it back with us from Tunisia many years ago. It’s starting to get a little tired, but it’s still nice and colorful 🙂
Love the pictures of your puppies. Very nice book haul. I hope you enjoy!
Thanks Angela 🙂

Wow.. nice haul!! You really got so many romance books. I hope you enjoy them 🙂
And these puppies always win my heart 🙂
My STS
Yes, I love romance books! And some of these have some suspense mixed in, which makes them even better in my opinion 🙂
The Romance books look awesome. Guess Freddie and Hercules are very happy playing with one another.
I know, I guess I’m in the mood to swoon these days 🙂
I love that the puppies get along so well, I was a little worried before bringing Hercules home with me.
Looks like you added some great books to your shelves this week, and I have to agree that Death, Taxes, and a French Manicure’s cover does look amazing with your color scheme.
Have a great weekend.
🙂 I love finding new and exciting-looking books to add to my shelves, Katie! Finding one that works so well with my color scheme is an added bonus.
Awww, that cuddling pic!
Looks like a great haul, too. Enjoy!
I know, right? They make me melt!
I’m happy it’s the weekend too, though I didn’t have a busy week so I’m not sure why I felt the need for it so much. Hope you get some good r’n’r x
Even if my week isn’t too buys, I’m a fan of the weekend, Emma 😉
Freddy and Hercules are melting my heart right now! All of your books look like steamy fun! Have a wonderful week with nice weather.
YAY, mission accomplished, Ardis!
Steamy fun is definitely my kind of fun 😉
Broken Ground looks like something I might enjoy. And I had to stop by and get my puppy fix!
It does look good! It’s a mystery thriller to make me read something other than romance 😉
I’m glad I could help you get your puppy fix, Barb!
Oh looks like you got lots of steamy new reads! Hope you love them!
Steamy reads to keep me nice and warm on these cool fall nights, right?
I didn’t know that Karina Halle had this series out, I’m going to have to look into the first book. Great haul you have this week, looks like a lot of steamy reads. I hope you enjoy them all. It’s always a joy to see Freddy and Hercules. 🙂
I really enjoyed the first book, Jovita, and you’ll be able to jump right into this second one 🙂
I’m glad you enjoy my puppy pictures 🙂
I hope you have a nice relaxing weekend, Lexxie. I must check out Broken Ground. The title and cover speak my name. LOL And just look at Hercules and Freddy. They are so cute sharing the toys and cuddling. Makes you want to hug them:)
My Sunday Post
My weekend was so relaxing I mostly stayed offline 🙂 That’s a good thing, apart from catching up on comments 😉
Hercules and Freddy get so many cuddles – they are the sweetest puppies!
Hope your weather stays nice! And look at freddy and Hercules- they seem to be getting along swimmingly! Yay for new buddies! Awesome.
Have a super week.
Our weather did stay nice on Saturday, then we got rain, but the beginning of the week has been gorgeous!
Yay, it’s awesome, Lexxie. I hope you’ll enjoy it. Anyway, I love the sound of your new books. Complicated has been on my TBR list. We cannot go wrong with KA. Looking forward to your review.
Enjoy your books and have a wonderful week, my friend. ❤️?
I look forward to reading it, Geybie, thanks again! I’ve already read Complicated, and I loved it!
Happy reading girl! Have a nice week as well!
Thanks, Melliane 🙂

Aww doggies 🙂 also, you have the coolest rug ever.
We are having cold weather here, but thankfully it’s not snowing or hailing, and there’s no ice yet! So all is well. Apart from my NetGalley/Edelweiss requesting speeds. That is not well 😀
Have a great week, Lexxie!
Thank you Evelina! I love that rug, but it’s starting to get a little tired 🙁
No hailing is a good thing for sure 😀 LOL NetGalley / Edelweiss and I have a love / hate relationship.
What a great way to start Sunday Morning Lexxie, because I feel such joy looking in the world of your lovely puppies. It was good to know you could relax just a little this weekend, and you got a nice little haul of books for your treasure trove. Hugs…RO
I’m glad my puppies lightened up your morning, Ro!
So many great books! I hope you’ll love them all.
Thanks, Nina 🙂
Enjoy your new books! Have a great week!
Thanks Chrissy, you, too!
Sounds like you’ve had a busy great week Lexxie!!! I love all your new books another great haul for the week. I’ve heard good things about Kate Meader’s series but I haven’t read it yet. As always your puppies are adorable. I hope you have a wonderful holiday and great week!!!!!
I did have a pretty busy week, but it was a very good one, so that’s OK. I have read the first in Meader’s series, and I really enjoyed it.
Oh my gosh could Freddie and Herc be any cuter?!?! I don’t think so! Enjoy your new books-you got some great looking reads!
I don’t think so either, Samantha 😀
Awww the doggies are too adorbs! I think everyone is ready for their extended weekend! I plan on getting some things done, but I see a lot of eating and reading in my future! Happy Thanksgiving and happy reading!!
We don’t have an extended weekend this week here in Switzerland, but that’s OK, in just a month, we have two weeks off for Christmas 🙂
Happy Thanksgiving to you!
Delighted to hear that it’s been an easier week – it’s a crazy-busy time of year what with one thing and another… Those pics of the dogs together are adorable, they must supply endless fun:). I hope this coming week is also reasonable.
True, November and December are fairly busy months.
The dogs do bring us an endless supply of fun – and also cuddles!

Glad you had a good week, All those books look amazing! I wish I could get rid of this slump. I miss reading but I just can’t seem to stay focused enough to read.
Those two babies are such cuties!!!
I hope you have an amazing week, Lexxie! I miss you! <3
Yeah, all these new books look great, and those I have already read were amazing 🙂
I hope you’ll get out of your slump soon, Michelle. Miss you much, too! <3
I’m glad the dogs are getting along so well. My dogs are pretty indifferent about each other. Maybe because they’re old and cranky. I hope you have a great week!
Indifferent is better than enemies, right? Freddy and Hercules are both still very young, Freddy will be 2 in January, and Herc is only 3.5 months.
I just love seeing pics of your pups. They’re so darn adorable! I’m going to sign up for the New Release Challenge again next year! Oh, and I plan to get my annual list of challenges started up soon, so I’ll be sure to get yours on there!
I love sharing pics of the pups, it has become tradition for my Sunday posts now.
Thanks for adding my new release challenge to your list, Nicole!
Freddy and Hercules are so cute! This week was also a slight reprieve at school. I feel we’ll have a lot of parents upset next week though, when they see grades!
I’m glad you got a slight reprieve last week… It’s always funny to me that some parents are all surprised when they get their children’s average grades, like, they haven’t seen any grades before? On tests?
Right? It’s hard to pretend to be shocked when the grades have been in the gradebook for 2+ weeks, I sent a progress report and five emails about tutorials, and then a follow up updated progress report. Like…did you leave the planet and not have WiFi?
I know! It’s so weird that some parents are all surprised with the grades their kids bring home. Oh well, at least, now they know what’s going on.
All these new books to read! Happy reading 😀 And I hope you can enjoy a restful weekend x
I did have a nice weekend, Olivia, and it was so nice to just be lazy 🙂

Glad you had a better week. I hope you had a restful weekend. I have a short week this week, because of Thanksgiving. I love the puppy pics. Herc is almost as big as Freddy. 🙂
Happy Thanksgiving, Melanie! I hope you’ll have a relaxing long weekend, with lots of good food and even better books 😉
And yes, Herc IS almost as big as Freddy, I’m amazed at how much he’s grown.
