The Sunday Post #163 – Weekend Wrap-up

Kim @ The Caffeinated Reviewer, is our hostess with the mostest for the weekly Sunday Post where I’m wrapping things up. It is the perfect opportunity to share what happened here on my own blog, as well as some of the happenings elsewhere in the Blogosphere.

While this week was almost as busy as last week, it was still somehow better. I got things done, more conferences, and long days, but it all went really well. I’m happy it’s the weekend, though, because I really need a break. Hopefully, the weather will continue being nice and sunny, with crisp fall air and leaves everywhere.

  1. Glad you had a better week. You got some lovelies in the mail this week. Oh cool, you got the new Kristen Ashley.

Cute pictures of the playful pups.

  2. Aww!!! Love seeing the happy pups together! So cute!!

Nice new reads too! Totally new to me ones but I hope you will enjoy them all!

My STS will be up tomorrow, so stop by then if you can!

    Have a GREAT day!

    Old Follower 🙂

    • Thanks, Laurel-Rain! I have managed to read some of them already, and they made me very happy. The rug is a vacation find… we brought it back with us from Tunisia many years ago. It’s starting to get a little tired, but it’s still nice and colorful 🙂

  3. I’m happy it’s the weekend too, though I didn’t have a busy week so I’m not sure why I felt the need for it so much. Hope you get some good r’n’r x

  4. I didn’t know that Karina Halle had this series out, I’m going to have to look into the first book. Great haul you have this week, looks like a lot of steamy reads. I hope you enjoy them all. It’s always a joy to see Freddy and Hercules. 🙂

  5. I hope you have a nice relaxing weekend, Lexxie. I must check out Broken Ground. The title and cover speak my name. LOL And just look at Hercules and Freddy. They are so cute sharing the toys and cuddling. Makes you want to hug them:)

    My Sunday Post

  6. Hope your weather stays nice! And look at freddy and Hercules- they seem to be getting along swimmingly! Yay for new buddies! Awesome.

    Have a super week.

  7. Yay, it’s awesome, Lexxie. I hope you’ll enjoy it. Anyway, I love the sound of your new books. Complicated has been on my TBR list. We cannot go wrong with KA. Looking forward to your review.

Enjoy your books and have a wonderful week, my friend. ❤️?

  8. Aww doggies 🙂 also, you have the coolest rug ever.
We are having cold weather here, but thankfully it’s not snowing or hailing, and there’s no ice yet! So all is well. Apart from my NetGalley/Edelweiss requesting speeds. That is not well 😀
    Have a great week, Lexxie!

  9. RO

What a great way to start Sunday Morning Lexxie, because I feel such joy looking in the world of your lovely puppies. It was good to know you could relax just a little this weekend, and you got a nice little haul of books for your treasure trove. Hugs…RO

  10. Sounds like you’ve had a busy great week Lexxie!!! I love all your new books another great haul for the week. I’ve heard good things about Kate Meader’s series but I haven’t read it yet. As always your puppies are adorable. I hope you have a wonderful holiday and great week!!!!!

  11. Awww the doggies are too adorbs! I think everyone is ready for their extended weekend! I plan on getting some things done, but I see a lot of eating and reading in my future! Happy Thanksgiving and happy reading!!

  12. Delighted to hear that it’s been an easier week – it’s a crazy-busy time of year what with one thing and another… Those pics of the dogs together are adorable, they must supply endless fun:). I hope this coming week is also reasonable.

  13. Glad you had a good week, All those books look amazing! I wish I could get rid of this slump. I miss reading but I just can’t seem to stay focused enough to read.

Those two babies are such cuties!!!

I hope you have an amazing week, Lexxie! I miss you! <3

  14. I just love seeing pics of your pups. They’re so darn adorable! I’m going to sign up for the New Release Challenge again next year! Oh, and I plan to get my annual list of challenges started up soon, so I’ll be sure to get yours on there!

  15. Freddy and Hercules are so cute! This week was also a slight reprieve at school. I feel we’ll have a lot of parents upset next week though, when they see grades!

      • Right? It’s hard to pretend to be shocked when the grades have been in the gradebook for 2+ weeks, I sent a progress report and five emails about tutorials, and then a follow up updated progress report. Like…did you leave the planet and not have WiFi?
