Weekend Wrap-up is where I share my new books, as well as what happened here at (un)Conventional Bookviews and elsewhere in the blogoshpere. I’m linking up with the usual suspects, AKA Team Tynga’s Reviews and Caffeinated Reviewer. This week, I might not respond to comments right here on my post, but rather make sure I take the time to visit you instead. <3

STS #216

Stacking The Shelves, hosted by Tynga’s Reviews and Reading Reality is all about the latest additions to my library – virtual or actual, with books that are  bought, borrowed, won or ARCs  I will (probably) be reading soon. Without further ado, here’s what I added to my bloated shelves this past week:

This was a good week! On Monday, I had my graduation ceremony, and it was really nice. We also got snow this week, it looks so beautiful outside.

For my third year students, it was the last week of classes, as they start their exams next week. Which means that my weeks will be a little lighter until the holiday.

This week’s puppies in action:

  1. Oooh, very nice! Yeah, I wouldn’t be able to leave a book all wrapped up like that for long, either. LOL

Yay for a prize win. Love getting those in the mail. And lighter school weeks and first snows. And a big congrats to the graduate. 🙂 We got our first snowfall this week, too.

  2. Oh you’re so patient. I would’ve opened it the second it arrived. I’m not good with waiting especially about books. Haha. I hope they’re from the authors you love and you’ll love them all. Happy reading and have a wonderful week, my friend. ❤️?

  3. Aww! The puppies are so cute in the snow! We haven’t had any yet, though a cold snap finally hit! I love cold weather so I’m happy for the colder temps! Lol!

Nice new reads!! Look at all the pretty new books! I find that I still haven’t opened one of my packages yet. I told myself I could once I get my Secret Santa gift all wrapped up and ready to mail. It’s been a few days…I’m doing good! Or bad since I have yet to wrap up those (or any really!) gifts! Eek! Must get going!!

My STS will be up tomorrow, so be sure to stop by then!

    Have a GREAT day!

    Old Follower 🙂

  4. Hahaha I love how you immediately opened them. I wouldn’t have been able to wait either.
Freddy is so cute in the snow! 🙂
Have a good week ahead, Lexxie!

  5. Hope the lighter load of the week is nice. It’s so much fun to watch puppies discover snow for the first time. I remember when my girl was that little and didn’t know what to do in snow. Even watching my son for the first time in snow was amazing. You brought back some fun memories with your puppies and snow. ^_^ Have a great week and happy reading!

  6. Oh I am so jealous of the snow. My dogs LOVE snow and we haven’t gotten any that sticks in a couple years.
    Awesome book haul! Enjoy them

  7. SNOW!!! It looks absolutely beautiful and also the kind that goes away quickly. Just the way I like it! MY dog is jealous!! Do you guys ski/board?? Didn’t know how close to the hills you were 😉 I haven’t been in years 🙁

Great books this week. I love Sawyer Bennett’s writing but I haven’t had a chance to read one of her books in a while.

CONGRATULATIONS on finally having your graduation ceremony! Now it’s super duper official, huh? YAY!! Either way, I couldn’t have done all the schooling… you still rock. 🙂

    • And the snow is even still here today, Kristin! So it got cold enough last night for it to stay, and we even got a little more overnight. Now, it’s quickly turning to slush though, so it will probably disappear today.
It’s super duper official, and I am so very happy about that. 🙂 Thank you!!

  8. YAAAAYY! Congrats! The snow is so beautiful! We had snow on Thursday night, too. Two days after 80 degree weather it snowed! 🙂

  9. Aww that last Freddy/ Hercules pic is cute. They seem to be getting along well!

Congrats on your graduation too! We also got snow this week, so yeah bring on the white stuff lol. 🙂

  10. I saw your post about waiting to unwrap the books and I said to myself “No way she can hold off” Lol I would have torn them open as soon as I got them. You waited a little longer than I would have 🙂

Puppies in the snow are the best. Dexter likes the snow, he is short too so when we have a good snow storm the poor little dude gets stuck. It’s so funny.

I hope you have an amazing week, My friend! Happy Reading! Miss you! oxox

  11. Oh my goodness – the snow looks lovely and your pics of the dogs are adorable. We are currently fortunate not to be getting any and I’m keeping my fingers crossed that we don’t as I hate it… Glad the rest of your term will be a tad easier – this runup to Christmas is always so hectic. I hope this week is a good one, Lexxie:)

  12. I thought you’d hold out longer than a blink to unwrap those books. LOL Nice win from Huss too! And congratulations on your graduation ceremony:) The pups look too cute. Hercules tail cracks me up. I bet they ran all over the place.

  13. It looks like you’ve got some great new books again this week! I love the look of those bookworm box presents! Santa came early for you! 😉
Its been snowing here too. I saw some gorgeous pictures of a snow covered Luzern and Interlaken this week. I bet those Swiss mountains are looking amazing.
    Have a great week!

  14. You got a lot of books, hope you enjoy them! We got some snow here yesterday/last night but by this afternoon it’s all gone. I was hoping for more, we didn’t get as much as you, but I’ll take what I can get. 🙂 Hope you have a great week!

  15. Sawyer Bennett is one of my favorite authors, her books are fabulous. The wrapping from Book Worm is wonderful, it’s like an early Christmas. Awe.. doggies in the snow, I hope we get snow here in Colorado soon, we haven’t had much moisture and it’s been very dry. Enjoy your week and happy reading.
