Weekend Wrap-up is where I share my new books, as well as what happened here at (un)Conventional Bookviews and elsewhere in the blogoshpere. I’m linking up with the usual suspects, AKA Team Tynga’s Reviews and Caffeinated Reviewer.
STS #218
Stacking The Shelves, hosted by Tynga’s Reviews and Reading Reality is all about the latest additions to my library – virtual or actual, with books that are bought, borrowed, won or ARCs I will (probably) be reading soon. Without further ado, here’s what I added to my bloated shelves this past week:
Thank you St. Martin’s Press, Harlequin, Montlake Romance, and NetGalley!
Thank you Penguin Publisher Group and Edelweiss!
The Sunday Post #168 – Weekend Wrap-up
Kim @ The Caffeinated Reviewer, is our hostess with the mostest for the weekly Sunday Post where I’m wrapping things up. It is the perfect opportunity to share what happened here on my own blog, as well as some of the happenings elsewhere in the Blogosphere.
I finished grading all my tests! Which means I’m on vacation until school starts again on January 8th next year. Can you see me happy-dancing here? This weekend is our family Christmas weekend, and on the 26th, Mr. Lex and I are traveling. All on our lonesome – as a couple. And we’re traveling far – as we’re going half way across the world to Hawaii. It’s been our dream to go to Hawaii ever since we started dating (which is a VERY long time ago!), as Mr. Lex had been before we met. And finally, it’s becoming reality! If you want to see pictures from there, please find my other IG account LindaSwissMiss.
I won’t be online much in the coming week, but I do have stuff planned here 🙂 There won’t be any Thirsty Thursday and Hungry Hearts posts, nor Safe and Sexy posts until I’m back home, however. I have posts about various favorites for 2017, books, authors, travels and more, so while I might not be able to comment back immediately, I will definitely get back to you if you leave me a comment while I’m gone 😉

I hope you have a wonderful Christmas! And Hawaii! Wow. I know you will love it! Have a fun, safe trip and enjoy every minute!
Thank you Lorna 🙂 I can’t wait – it’s going to be magical.
Yay vacation! And ooh Hawaii! I’ve never been, but I’m sure it’ll be gorgeous and fun! Have a great trip and a merry Christmas 🙂
I know! I feel like the luckiest woman in the universe, Kristen. I’ve never been, either, so I’m really excited.
Happy Christmas and great post!
Thanks, Berni 🙂
Oh my gosh, the puppies are too cute. Merry Christmas and enjoy Hawaii! That sounds amazing!
Thanks! I’m so excited about our trip! Hawaii has been on my dream-destinations lists for years 🙂
Ooh Hawaii should be fun! Oddly, I’m not really a beach person myself. I don’t like sand so much–lol–it’s all itchy like when it sticks to your toes, I never swim in the ocean since I grew up watching Jaws. Just no way, uh huh, not happening! Not a big fan of heat and I guess I always associate tropical island type places as being hot. But that’s just me and my weird eccentricities! I hope you both have a marvelous time!!
Nice new reads too! Some totally new to me ones that I am not familiar with. I hope you enjoy each and every one of them!
My STS will be up tomorrow, so stop by then if you can!
Have a GREAT day!
Old Follower 🙂
As you know, I love the beach. A lot. And it isn’t too hot in Hawaii these days, so I can hardly wait to get away from the fog and the dark dankness of Geneva now.
Have a great week, Jessica 🙂
Enjoy Hawaii! I’d love to go there someday.
Thanks, Aj, I can hardly wait… one more day and I’m on my way.
Yay for getting your freedom from school and the opportunity to go to Hawaii. Fun stuff!
Merry Christmas, Lexxie!
Thank you Sophia, you, too!
Merry Christmas, my friend. I hope you have a very happy Christmas with your family. Enjoy your vacation in Hawaii next week and enjoy your books. ❤️?
Thank you Geybie 🙂 We had a wonderful time with the whole family, and now, I’ve finished packing and printing all our travel documents 😉
Oh, enjoy your trip to Hawaii! I’ve never been, either, even though my oldest brother spent a year there teaching in the 1970s.
Have a great holiday season…and savor those books. I am curious about Murder Notes.
The puppies look very cozy.
Here are MY WEEKLY UPDATES
It’s so far from here, which kind of makes it more exciting – once we’ve finished with the flying, that is 😀
Thanks for stopping by, Laurel-Rain.
Oh have a wonderful time in Hawaii!! What a beautiful time to go-when its cold and snowy everywhere else! Glad you got your grading completed. I’m jealous you are on break until January 8th. We go back January 3rd! Safe Travels!
I know! I can hardly wait to get out from under the fog here in Geneva. And to get some sun, fun and different food.
We have two weeks off for Christmas every year, and it’s truly needed!
Have a wonderful trip to Hawaii. It’s a fun place. Happy Holidays and Happy Reading!
Thank you!! I can’t wait to actually be there after dreaming of Hawaii for so long.
Hope you have a wonderful Christmas! And how fun. You’ll have a great time in Hawaii. I’ve been a few times, but not for several years now. Maybe a trip is due soon …
I am sure we’ll have fun in Hawaii. It’s not only the destination that’s a dream, it’s also to be able to get away for over a week, just the two of us 🙂

Sorry Lexxie, I misspelled your name 🙁 Typing from phone sucks!
No worries, Sim 🙂
I absolutely love Kristen Ashley’s books, so I look forward to the Hookup. Never-ending TBRs are both a blessing and a curse, no?
Thanks for stopping by.

Oh cool, you get to travel just the two of you 🙂 that’s great. And so far too! (Bet you’ll bring back books :DD)
I’ve never been to Hawaii, and I don’t think I will ever go (too far, too expensive!) But I sure would like to see pics from there 🙂
Have a wonderful vacation!!
It is so great, Evelina, it’s been so long since we had a full week to ourselves! We’ve been planning this trip for years, and now, it’s happening.
Such a long vacation. I envy you! I am going back to work on Wednesday :(.
This week I got my Secret Santa book (a book by Patrick Modiano) and finished my Christmas shopping!
Have a great vacation and happy holidays!
I guess this vacation is one of the good things of being a teacher, Andreea 🙂 I really do need a long break, though, the past two months have been exhausting.
Thanks for stopping by.
I hope you enjoy your new books. I haven’t heard of any of them before, but the cover of The Immortalists is gorgeous.
Yay! Time for some deserving vacation. I hope you enjoy your stay in Hawaii. It’s such a beautiful place – not that I’ve been there before, but I’ve seen photos and it’s such a magical place.
Merry Christmas!
I agree, The Immortalists looks very good, and that cover is beautiful.
I’ve seen photos, too, and I am so excited to experience Hawaii for myself, now 🙂

Thanks, Charlie! I’m sure we will.
What a wonderful trip. My brother loves Hawaii! Give those two sweet pups some love and have a wonderful Christmas!
Thank you Laura. I’m so happy to finally be able to go to Hawaii 🙂
YAY! Congratulations for being able to really get all of that grading done! Now it’s time to kick off your teacher shoes and really relax and enjoy the rest of the holiday. You’ve totally earned it 😉 And HAWAII? That’s SO amazing! Especially if you’ve both wanted to go for so long. I hope you enjoy your time together 🙂
Thank you, Olivia! That’s such a weight off my shoulders 🙂
I can’t wait for our travels to start tomorrow, I’m sure we’ll have a lot of fun.
