Weekend Wrap-up is where I share my new books, as well as what happened here at (un)Conventional Bookviews and elsewhere in the blogoshpere. I’m linking up with the usual suspects, AKA Team Tynga’s Reviews and Caffeinated Reviewer.

STS #187

Stacking The Shelves, hosted by Tynga’s Reviews is all about the latest additions to my library – virtual or actual, with books that are  bought, borrowed, won or ARCs  I will (probably) be reading soon. Without further ado, here’s what I added to my bloated shelves this past week:

ARCs Recieved - (un)Conventional Bookviews - Bought Borrowed and Bagged Stacking the Shelves

I got accepted for some ARCs I had requested a while back, downloaded some e-books I got at RT, and I also received two e-mail invitations I wasn’t able to resist…

The Sunday Post #137 – Weekend Wrap-up

Kim @ The Caffeinated Reviewer, is our hostess with the mostest for the weekly Sunday Post where I’m wrapping things up. It is the perfect opportunity to share what happened here on my own blog, as well as some of the happenings elsewhere in the Blogosphere.

It’s been a very busy week, with creating the time table for my two second-year classes’ oral exams in June, making copies of the year-end exams for my first-year classes, creating new tests for those who were sick on the day of the original test and trying to do the final touch-ups on my thesis. I also have not been feeling well, and just want to stay in bed to read and sleep 🙁 Hopefully, I’ll hurry up and feel better.

  1. Definitely sounds like a busy week! Hope things calm down for you soon! Nice new reads too! They’re all new to me ones but I hope you enjoy them all!

My STS will up tomorrow, so stop by then if you can!

    Have a GREAT day!

    Old Follower 🙂

  2. Freddy looks he is having a great time. Sometimes we can’t resist certain book invites. Great haul of books this week.

  3. Hope you feel better, Lexxie. You did have a busy week.

Oh man, that is quite the stack. I think I have a few Megan Frampton and Laura Kaye’s that I got in a contest that I still need to read. Yes, wishing you some time off to enjoy your books soon. 🙂

    Have a good week coming!

  4. It’s been a weird week here weather- wise. We got really warm (80’s) and then it cooled right off. Make up your mind nature. 🙂 And yeah sounds like you had a busy one! Hope you have a nice quiet weekend and feel better too! Freddie definitely looks like he’s enjoying himself.

The Lying Game I TOTALLY want lol.

  5. I hope you feel better soon! You have so much to do for school. We have hit the part of the year when testing is over and we only have 1 week left of classes, so the kids are just crazy! They have lots of projects due this week though, so hopefully I can keep them focused for 1 final week!

  6. I’ve had Ride Hard but haven’t read it. Thanks for reminding me of that book. My kindle is FULL of books, I lost track of some books I’m planning on reading soon. OMG, Freddy is SO cute. He needs to meet my Momo. They’ll be good friends. Both love playing.

Enjoy your books and have a wonderful week. ?

    • I hope we’ll both enjoy Ride Hard, Geybie 🙂 My kindle is also really full of books I haven’t read yet. I try to be better with freebies and cheap books, but it’s so hard.
Momo and Freddy should definitely meet. I’m sure both they and we would have fun 🙂

  7. Hope you are feeling better. Nothing like having lots to do and not feeling like doing it. The new Ruth Ware looks good. Hope it stacks up to her other books!

  8. My allergies all week have been kicking my butt! I hope you feel better! Stress can run you down, get some rest don’t over do it, you will be on the beach in Spain before you know it.
    Enjoy all those gorgeous covers!

Have a wonderful week, Lexxie! I miss you! <3 Happy Reading! ox

    • Huh… I didn’t even think of allergies – they may be part of the problem. But I think it’s a bit stress-related, too. I do need to look at the end of the school year and just hope I’ll get everything done the way I want to 🙂 Love you and miss you, too, Michelle!

  9. Wow you had a busy week! I hope that this week ahead is calmer and that you feel better. Your books look good, happy reading!

  10. Freddy is so cute, as always 🙂 sounds like you’ve been busy as well. I’ve actually had a good reading week, finished so many old ARCs! Makes me glad.
    Have a good week 🙂

  11. Great books this week! I have Something Like Happy and I’m excited about it. The historical romances look good too. I went awhile without reading them but have gotten back into the genre lately and can’t get enough! I hope you’re feeling better and getting plenty of rest! Love the Freddy pictures! What a cutie. Have a great week!

  12. You have the CUTEST freaking dog, ever. Like. Ever. Good luck with your exams, and hope you have a great week and start feeling better!

  13. I am excited about the Lying Game but holding out for a review audio copy. Such a nice haul this week. So sorry you are under the weather and can sympathize. I have bronchitis again. *hangs head*
