Weekend Wrap-up #232 – Travel for Spring-Break

Posted 7 April, 2018 by Linda @ (un)Conventional Bookworms in Memes, Wrap-up Posts / 49 Comments

Weekend Wrap-up is where I share my new books, as well as what happened here at (un)Conventional Bookviews and elsewhere in the blogoshpere. I’m linking up with the usual suspects, AKA Team Tynga’s Reviews and Caffeinated Reviewer.

STS #232

Stacking The Shelves, hosted by Tynga’s Reviews and Reading Reality is all about the latest additions to my library – virtual or actual, with books that are  bought, borrowed, won or ARCs  I will (probably) be reading soon. Without further ado, here’s what I added to my bloated shelves this past week:

Rock Chick Reborn cover - (un)Conventional Bookviews - Weekend Wrap-upWicked Wager cover - (un)Conventional Bookviews - Weekend Wrap-upKing cover - (un)Conventional Bookviews - Weekend Wrap-up

King by TM Frazier was free on kindle, Rock Chick Reborn was an automatic one-click, and I got Wicked Wager after reading LaQuette’s twitter thread about how AOC’s are not well treated by the RWA. I need to pay more attention to things like that – because to me, a good story is just a good story, and I should actively search out more AOC books to make sure I not only expand my horizons, but that I also put my money in the right place.

The Sunday Post #182 – Weekend Wrap-up

Kim @ The Caffeinated Reviewer, is our hostess with the mostest for the weekly Sunday Post where I’m wrapping things up. It is the perfect opportunity to share what happened here on my own blog, as well as some of the happenings elsewhere in the Blogosphere.

Even if I’m still on spring break, this has been a fairly busy week. Last weekend, I was still in our apartment in Spain, and we had such gorgeous weather! On Wednesday afternoon, we loaded up the car and drove back home to Geneva. On Thursday morning, the girls and I traveled to Norway by plane. We just couldn’t wait any longer to meet my new niece, who’s now three weeks old. She is SO cute! And it is so incredibly nice to have a baby in the family again 😀

I have not been able to visit any blogs again this week, and I feel so bad about that! I will do better next week, promise!

Did you get some good books last week? What have you been up to this past week? Thanks for stopping by, I hope you’re enjoying your weekend, and that next week will be filled with awesome!

    • I’m really excited about King, Michelle, I have heard so many good things about it. And I actually met Frazier in London at RARE, and had no idea who she was 😮
Babies are the best! I’m kind of sad I live so far away from my sister, but I’m also sure I’ll try to get to Norway more often than usual now.
      Miss you too!!
