2015 New Release Challenge Wrap-up

For the first edition of the New Release Challenge, both Stormi @ Books, Movies, Reviews! Oh My! are very happy with the participation from everyone… especially because we haven’t been as ‘on top’ of the updates as we had planned to be – but we promise to do better in 2016. We have already planned some fun things for next year, and there is a Facebook Group for participants as well, that way we can get to know each other better, cheer each other on and pimp 2016 New Releases as we go πŸ™‚

I read 146 new releases this year, which is even more than I had anticipated, and I’m very happy with exceeding my goal. Here’s a list of all the 2015 books I reviewed on the blog this year. How did you do? Are you happy, and do you think you will increase or decrease your goal for next year?

Of course, to celebrate the completion of the first New Release Challenge, we have a giveaway, and it’s only open for challenge participants. All you have to do is follow the instructions in the Rafflecopter widget:

Kudos, kudos and more kudos Lexxie! I dare not enter into any challenge other than to not eat cheeseburgers every day! (lol) I read something everyday, but I’m not nearly as disciplined as I should be. Happy New Year! Hugs…

    • You know, Ro, the New Release Challenge is very, very flexible πŸ˜‰ You cold sign up to read one single book released in 2016!!
Happy New Year! I hope 2016 will bring you only love, happiness, joy, good health, success, fun, a little naughtiness and amazing books <3

  2. Wow you did amazing! I also read way more new releases than I expcted, this challenge really gave me insight in how many new releases I read in a year, more than half of the books I read where new releases. Thanks for hosting this challenge!

  3. 146 books, Lexxie!! I’m flabbergasted! *haha* I thought my total was pretty high – higher than I was anticipating – but it’s only a 3rd of your total. πŸ˜‰ Great job, my dear! And I’m looking forward to participating again this year!

    • It’s definitely important to read the books we want, Rachael, and I’m a very fast reader, so I usually get a lot of books read every year. It’s not a competition between us, it’s more a challenge to help us keep on the track we want to be on during the year.
I’m glad you’ll be back this year πŸ™‚
