Bought, Bagged and Wrapping it Up is where I share my new books, as well as what happened here at (un)Conventional Bookviews and elsewhere in the blogoshpere. I’m linking up with the usual suspects, AKA Team Tynga’s Reviews, Talk Supe and Caffeinated Reviewer.

STS #144 – Bought Borrowed & Bagged #104

Stacking The Shelves, hosted by Tynga’s Reviews is all about the latest additions to your library – virtual or actual, with books that are  bought, borrowed, won or ARCs  you will be reading soon. Bought Borrowed and Bagged is a homage to to Barron’s Books and Baubles from KMM’ Fever series, and is hosted by Braine over at Talk Supe. Without further ado, here’s what I bought, borrowed or bagged this past week:

The Sunday Post #144 – Wrapping it Up

Kim @ The Caffeinated Reviewer, is our hostess with the mostest for the weekly Sunday Post where I’m wrapping things up. It is the perfect opportunity to share what happened here on my own blog, as well as some of the happenings elsewhere in the Blogosphere.

My husband and the three oldest children came back to Spain on Friday, and there was much joy to be had! Freddy went completely nuts, and youngest Ms. Lex was happy to have her dad and her siblings around again. It’s been really hot, so we haven’t been spending as much time at the beach as we did the other weeks… It’s just too nice and cool inside the apartment with the air conditioning working and some good books and music to keep us occupied.

This Week’s Freddy in Action:

Can you believe Freddy just turned six months this past week? I went through some older photos, and it’s incredible how much he’s changed! Really, it is! He’s just as cute, just bigger, and even more playful 🙂

  1. I am not familiar with any of your new books this week, but I love seeing them there together with all those intriguing covers in a montage. Look forward to your review thoughts on them particularly The Cabin which has me the most curious.

Ah, that’s great that the family is all back together again. Stay cool in your nice apartment! 🙂

    Cute Freddy!

  2. Wow, that is an impressive haul. The Cabin & The Edge of everything look good. But the authors are not familiar to me. Happy reading and have a great weekend and new week ahead.
    Best wishes

  3. I don’t really have exciting weeks to talk about! Mostly I’m at home reading or blogging or watching TV! My social life ended when I left college! Seeing the cuteness of Freddy is one of the highlights of the week though. I can’t believe he is six months old already. Where is time going to these days? Hope you have a good week with cooler weather!

  4. Nice!! I have the Edge of Everything to read still from BEA! Can’t wait! It sounded awesome when the Bloomsbury person I was talking to was telling me about it! Hope you enjoy all your new reads!! And aww!! Freddy is so cute! He’s growing fast! 🙂

My STS will be up tomorrow, so stop by then if you can!

    Have a GREAT day!

    Old Follower 🙂

  5. Hope you enjoy your books, they look good. It’s been pretty hot here too..blah. Freddy is just so adorable cause he reminds me so much of my oldest dog squirt who is blind now and not getting around well. She is a long haired wiener dog and chiwauwau mix but looks just like Freddy…lol. Makes me miss those younger years when she was spry.

  6. The Edge of Everything sounds amazing, doesn’t it? I’m trying to restrain myself and not pick it up until later in the year, but I might just cave in and read! Aww that’s so cute that Freddy was excited that your family was back. I swear dogs are so much more emotive than some human beings. He’s such an adorable fluffy dog! The first thing I do when I get a stable job and an apartment will be to get myself a dog. 🙂
I hope you enjoy your week, Lexxie!

  8. Wow, Freddy has gotten big! He looks so fluffy, he is just the cutest – you’ll need to set up his own Instagram to rival Crusoe the Celebrity Dachshund!

  9. Oh I just love the Freddy pictures! So cute!!!! And I’m glad your hubby and older kids joined you in Spain! Great book haul too! Enjoy!

  10. Oh happy half-birthday to Freddy! He’s become a beloved member of your family hasn’t he?!

And Spain… it just sounds so exotic from my little patch in the world!

  11. Awwww!! Freddy fix!! He’s like a little Prince sitting on his pillows and on the bed 🙂 So adorable. I’m sure he’s awfully glad you guys don’t go off to the beach all day, either. I keep telling our dog he doesn’t want to go for a walk in this heat but he just doesn’t understand… silly pup!!

    Enjoy your week!!!

  12. It’s been really hot here and it sounds like it is spreading around the world lol. The heat does make it harder to be outside but it sounds relaxing being indoors with a good book. Freddie has grown so fast and is adorable. It’s good your family is together again and I hope you have cooler weather this week. Have a great week!

  13. Welcome back home! I’m glad you’re happy to be back and that Freddy was too 🙂 It’s been really ridiculously hot and humid around here too – I love the Summer but I could do without the humidity…

I can’t believe that Freddy is already six months! Wow ♥ I hope you enjoy all your lovely books to my friend! xx
