Bought, Bagged and Wrapping it Up is where I share my new books, as well as what happened here at (un)Conventional Bookviews and elsewhere in the blogoshpere. I’m linking up with the usual suspects, AKA Team Tynga’s Reviews, Talk Supe and Caffeinated Reviewer.
STS #144 – Bought Borrowed & Bagged #104
Stacking The Shelves, hosted by Tynga’s Reviews is all about the latest additions to your library – virtual or actual, with books that are bought, borrowed, won or ARCs you will be reading soon. Bought Borrowed and Bagged is a homage to to Barron’s Books and Baubles from KMM’ Fever series, and is hosted by Braine over at Talk Supe. Without further ado, here’s what I bought, borrowed or bagged this past week:
Thank you to Edelweiss and Netgalley, as well as the publishers!
Tiffany Reisz gifted ‘Something Nice’ (Original Sinners short) to all her newsletter subscribers this week. If you’re a fan, but not subscribed yet, I think it’s still time to sign up 🙂 I absolutely loved this story – review should be up next week.
The Sunday Post #144 – Wrapping it Up
Kim @ The Caffeinated Reviewer, is our hostess with the mostest for the weekly Sunday Post where I’m wrapping things up. It is the perfect opportunity to share what happened here on my own blog, as well as some of the happenings elsewhere in the Blogosphere.
My husband and the three oldest children came back to Spain on Friday, and there was much joy to be had! Freddy went completely nuts, and youngest Ms. Lex was happy to have her dad and her siblings around again. It’s been really hot, so we haven’t been spending as much time at the beach as we did the other weeks… It’s just too nice and cool inside the apartment with the air conditioning working and some good books and music to keep us occupied.
This Week’s Freddy in Action:
Can you believe Freddy just turned six months this past week? I went through some older photos, and it’s incredible how much he’s changed! Really, it is! He’s just as cute, just bigger, and even more playful 🙂

Did you get some good books last week? What have you been up to this past week? Thanks for stopping by, I hope you’ve enjoyed your weekend, and that next week will be filled with awesome!
I am not familiar with any of your new books this week, but I love seeing them there together with all those intriguing covers in a montage. Look forward to your review thoughts on them particularly The Cabin which has me the most curious.
Ah, that’s great that the family is all back together again. Stay cool in your nice apartment! 🙂
Cute Freddy!
Wow, that is an impressive haul. The Cabin & The Edge of everything look good. But the authors are not familiar to me. Happy reading and have a great weekend and new week ahead.
Best wishes
Vi @ Gone With The Books
I don’t really have exciting weeks to talk about! Mostly I’m at home reading or blogging or watching TV! My social life ended when I left college! Seeing the cuteness of Freddy is one of the highlights of the week though. I can’t believe he is six months old already. Where is time going to these days? Hope you have a good week with cooler weather!
They’re all new to me there and I hope you’ll enjoy them! happy reading!
I am curious to see what you think of Sawyer Bennett’s book. Yay for Freddy turning Six months, I can’t believe its been that long. Its seem like last week you got him.
The Edge of Everything and Like a Love Song look good. Hope you enjoy all of them. Happy 1/2 year birthday Freddy!! Have a great week!!
The Edge of Everything looks interesting! Happy reading! 🙂

Nice!! I have the Edge of Everything to read still from BEA! Can’t wait! It sounded awesome when the Bloomsbury person I was talking to was telling me about it! Hope you enjoy all your new reads!! And aww!! Freddy is so cute! He’s growing fast! 🙂
My STS will be up tomorrow, so stop by then if you can!
Have a GREAT day!

I’m so excited to read Jeff Giles’ novel as well! Freddy is super cute! He reminds me of my dog, which I haven’t seen for a couple of weeks already! 🙁
Happy Reading!
I think I’ve been meaning to read something by Andrew Taylor. The name sounds familiar… Anyway, hope you enjoy the new books! And eeh, Freddy is so cute.
As much as I love having the house to myself it’s something special about having it filled with loved one 🙂

Hope you enjoy your books, they look good. It’s been pretty hot here too..blah. Freddy is just so adorable cause he reminds me so much of my oldest dog squirt who is blind now and not getting around well. She is a long haired wiener dog and chiwauwau mix but looks just like Freddy…lol. Makes me miss those younger years when she was spry.
The Edge of Everything sounds amazing, doesn’t it? I’m trying to restrain myself and not pick it up until later in the year, but I might just cave in and read! Aww that’s so cute that Freddy was excited that your family was back. I swear dogs are so much more emotive than some human beings. He’s such an adorable fluffy dog! The first thing I do when I get a stable job and an apartment will be to get myself a dog. 🙂
I hope you enjoy your week, Lexxie!

I love the cute cover for Like a Love Song! I’ve read books by Natasha Preston and some I like, and others i’m eh about so I’ll wait for your verdict on this one. I’m happy you were able to spend time with your family 🙂
Freddie is growing up so fast. You got some great looking books this week. I hope you love all of your new books.
Grace
Wow he’s getting big. Glad your hubby and kids were able to make it- enjoy your weekend! It is too hot foe the beach sometimes- air conditioning can be a blessing and good books to boot- sounds good! 🙂
Have a great week!
Good books and good Netflix can be a lifesaver, Greg! Have you watched ‘Lie To Me’? My oldest and I just love it! The micro-expressions make us think we’re scientists…
No I haven’t seen that! That’s a new one for me. I’ll have to take a look. I’ve been watching Turn: Washington’s Spies on Netflix, which I I don’t know how I even got started on that, but now I’m binging it lol. Netflix… shakes head. 🙂
I love that show!!!!
I should say I love Lie to Me! I just realized how vague my response was! Haha!
Congrats on getting so many wonderful looking titles. I think Freddy is so cute! He could be a “social media star”! Get that dog his own Instagram account! I would totally follow it.
Wow, Freddy has gotten big! He looks so fluffy, he is just the cutest – you’ll need to set up his own Instagram to rival Crusoe the Celebrity Dachshund!
It’s so hot here! And we’re working on the pool so I haven’t been able to use it in a week. Maybe tomorrow or the next. It would be great. I can’t handle being hot. haha
Aww…Freddy!! He’s growing up. 🙂
All your ARCs this week are so pretty! And yay, that’s great that the family is back 🙂 Though I can’t blame you for wanting to stay inside! And wow, Freddy is 6 months already? He is definitely still just as cute! Have a great week 🙂
Freddy is definitely getting cuter than ever!
Enjoy your books…I am curious about The Cabin. Have a great week!

Have a great week ahead, Lexxie, and family time is always a great time 🙂
Ugh, It’s grossly hot here too. I don’t blame you for wanting to stay in. Aww … Freddy is a big boy now! 😀 I don’t know why I love your dog so much, but I do. lol
Oh I just love the Freddy pictures! So cute!!!! And I’m glad your hubby and older kids joined you in Spain! Great book haul too! Enjoy!
Oh happy half-birthday to Freddy! He’s become a beloved member of your family hasn’t he?!
And Spain… it just sounds so exotic from my little patch in the world!

Oh, Freddy is such a cutie! He is getting very big. They are like kids, I remember when dexter was a puppy! He was so cute but now he’s big and fluffy.
I am glad everyone has come back to join you in Spain! It really should so relaxing! 🙂
Miss you a whole lot! Have a great week! Happy Reading! ox

Awe Freddie is growing up, Yeah sometimes the A/C, coffee and a good book are all you need! Enjoy your new books, most are new to me, so I look forward to your thoughts
Awww….Freddy looks as cute as ever!!! Here’s my Sunday Post!
Awwww!! Freddy fix!! He’s like a little Prince sitting on his pillows and on the bed 🙂 So adorable. I’m sure he’s awfully glad you guys don’t go off to the beach all day, either. I keep telling our dog he doesn’t want to go for a walk in this heat but he just doesn’t understand… silly pup!!
Enjoy your week!!!
Your dog is super cute. Yeah for cozy days in the apartment. I’m taking a day myself and just blogging and reading while my husband does his thing.

Freddy looks so cute! definitely not like a 6 year old
It’s been really hot here and it sounds like it is spreading around the world lol. The heat does make it harder to be outside but it sounds relaxing being indoors with a good book. Freddie has grown so fast and is adorable. It’s good your family is together again and I hope you have cooler weather this week. Have a great week!
I enjoy vacations where you take a vacation form a vacation. LOL It’s fun to just relax and enjoy each others company and not rush all over the place. And Freddy is even cuter than ever. Had to laugh when you mentioned he went nuts! LOL I jcoud see it:)
Welcome back home! I’m glad you’re happy to be back and that Freddy was too 🙂 It’s been really ridiculously hot and humid around here too – I love the Summer but I could do without the humidity…
I can’t believe that Freddy is already six months! Wow ♥ I hope you enjoy all your lovely books to my friend! xx
