COYER March Challenge - (un)Conventional Bookviews

COYER Update 1

Welcome to my COYER Updateย  for the half-way point of the March 2014 COYER challenge. I have done pretty well so far, even if I haven’t posted that many reviews yet. When I started the challenge, I already had a lot of posts scheduled for the first two weeks of March, as I had been able to read a lot before Uni started again in the middle of February. As you probably already know, the COYER challenge is hosted by Berls at Fantasy is More Fun and Michelle of Because Reading is better than Real Life, don’t forget to go check out how they’re doing – there are lots of contests going on during the challenge.

I have been able to make quite a dent in my COYER pile, though, and so far, I have read eight books so I’m good on my way to achieve my deep-clean goal ๐Ÿ™‚ Here is a list of the books I’ve read so far:

Wake to Darkness (Brown and De Luca #2) – Maggie Shayne – the only review that has already been posted so far.

Reprisal (The Time Weaver Chronicles #3) – Thomas A. Knight. My review is scheduled for Thursday, March 20th

Come Home to Me (Whiskey Creek #6) – Brenda Novak. My review is scheduled for Tuesday, March 18th.

Sweet Revenge (Sin Brothers #2) – Rebecca Zanetti. My review is scheduled for Wednesday, March 19th.

Improper Arrangements (Improper #2) – Juliana Ross. My review is scheduled for Monday, March 17th.

Maybe Someday – Colleen Hoover. My review is scheduled for Sunday, March 16th.

All Fired Up (Hot in the Kitchen #2) – Kate Meader. My review is scheduled for Friday, March 21st.

The Forever Song (Blood of Eden #3) – Julie Kagawa. My review is scheduled for Monday, March 24th.

How are you doing with the COYER challenge so far? Are you happy with your progress? I know I am – and I am also participating in the Ides of March challenge hosted by Kim of The Caffeinated Bookreviewer that started yesterday. Gotta read more e-books!

  1. Great job, Lexxie! You have done well so far with this challenge. I’m not doing so well. I’ve only read 1 of my 8 books so far. Ugh! I do this to myself…I really need to learn how to say ‘no’! LOL I can’t wait to read more of your reviews. I’m really looking forward to your Maybe Someday review…I can’t wait to read that one. ๐Ÿ™‚ Oh, and I have Come Home to Me on tap, too, of course.

Happy Friday, my friend! I hope your feeling better today. *BIG HUGS*

    • I knew I was going to read a lot of ARCs this month anyway, so it really worked well that the COYER challenge is right now ๐Ÿ˜€

Right now, I’m listening to the Point of Retreat audiobook, and it’s awesome! I listened to Slammed yesterday, and I was crying even harder than when I read it – the poetry was actually performed by the narrator!

Both Maybe someday and Come Home to Me were awesome – prepare to one-click ๐Ÿ˜‰

Thanks for stopping by, Brandee, I am feeling lots better. I think I was just stressed yesterday ๐Ÿ™‚ *BIG HUGS*

    • That’s one of the reasons why I didn’t make a list, Michelle, I only decided I wanted to do the deep clean ๐Ÿ™‚

      Thanks for stopping by.
