The question of the week :

Summer Reading. What was your favorite book that you were REQUIRED to read when you were in school?

I think the book that I had to read that I loved in spite of it being forced to me was George Eliot’s Adam Bede. Yeah, I’m strange that way, but I love the pastoral feel to that book, and the way the characters interacted, how they realized that decisions that one made might have implications on quite a few others as well.
What was your favorite book among the required books? I want to know!
